Twine Storage + Review

Hello Blogland Friends!

Melissa here today! August is almost over (now someone tell Mother Nature because we have a high of 93 degrees today!) and I wanted to show you how I store my twine as well as a look back at my projects this month :)

Here's the storage:

I have them on a kitchen item I found at The Container Store. It's really for lids but I think these were only like $7 each! I have 2 of them here, I need a new one for the new Sorbet colors!

I use my twine WAY more now that I have the gorgeous colors displayed!

I was having some fun with my iPhone and the panoramic feature. This is my craft room! I have to be able to see my stuff!

And a look back:

I used the Sorbet collection this month because I can't get enough of those colors!

Nuts About You

Debbie with Bugjuiced here with another DT project. I wanted to make a cute little picture frame for my desk with my favorite NUT in the hubby. He makes me laugh everyday and I am so appreciative for him being in my life. We have so much fun together. This picture of him was taken on a month long florida vacation and we just had so much fun. He is a super handsome guy but its hard to get a good picture because he is usually making some crazy face to me.

I purchased the "Nuts about You" file from I really love her files and seem to love every design she comes out with. I used a shape I had in my library to make the frame. i didn't want just a square one. I cut that shape about 3 times to layer and give it some stability. Then I cut another square out of heavy chipboard to put behind it. I made a stand out of the chipboard as well.

Can you spot my boo boo? hee hee Oh well no mistakes in paper crafting right!

Isn't this squirrel cute!! I used my Chocolate Chip & Aqua twine

Hello Love

Good Morning!!

Kristy here sharing a bright, fun and simple card with all of you today.

A few weeks ago I picked up this really fun and bright school stack from Jo-Ann's and I just HAD to use it right away! The colors fit with the newly released colors to a T!

I had so much fun mixing washi tape and twine!!
They are the perfect pair!!

For this card I used the delicious Razzleberry Sorbet. Yummy!!

I wanted to share that twine is the PERFECT embellishment.  My card is a great example.......I made this card and there it sat because I just couldn't figure out what ELSE it needed.  I was missing something.  Does this ever happen to any of you?  Timeless Twine to the rescue!!!  Adding in a double stranded bow using twine made my heart skip a beat.  It WAS the perfect embellishment!

Don't forget the Sketch challenge is still going on.

*{Timeless Twine & Meg}*

Q: How do these two things go together you ask?
A: Perfectly.

Meg is a stand out..she's ridiculously silly. She's perfect in such an imperfect way. She compliments our family...even if we all at one point have wanted to open the door and say..."Go! Run!"

Her face, her sweet face saves her...sometimes it's the only thing that saves her...see above.

This was an instant I must scrap. It was an instant...I have the perfect embellishment I want to use with it....Pumpkin Orange Twine. I also realize...I chose Pumpkin Orange because I am literally pining for Fall!

Here's a close up of some of the twiney details:
