Fun Friday - Fairy Garden Style

Hi friends!  Happy Friday!!
Amber with Best Stamped Intentions here with some fun spring inspiration!

Do you ever wake up first thing in the morning like a light went off in your head and you absolutely knew what you were going to do that day?  Well, it happened to me Sunday.

Today, I've got a SUPER fun project that can TOTALLY be done with your kids.
Heck, even THIS big kid (me) had a blast making this!

My little girl, Neysa, went with me to Michael's on Sunday to pick out flowers, rocks and some accessories for our gardens.
The husband was watching The Master's tournament so it was a good time to escape for a bit!

After we got home, here's what we came up with.

Here's hers:

She was so proud and happy!  We are going to keep it in her room on her dresser so the fairies can come in at night. :)

Her and I frequently "cwaft" together, but this was even more fun than usual for her because it involved dirt. :)  She did ALL of this on her own - I only helped with the rocks in the pond and the banner and tutu's.  She's been trained very well.

Here is what I came up with for mine.

For the house and bench, I hot glued popsicle sticks together and wrapped with Timeless Twine in Key Lime Sorbet and Razzleberry Sorbet (which, BTW, are on sale for $7/spool or $18 for all 3 colors!!!).  I also used those 2 colors for the banner and clothes line.

I seriously had SO much fun making this - especially since I was able to spend that extra quality time with Neysa.  :)

xoxo, Amber

Bunny Love!

It's Friday, it's Friday!  I love Fun Friday!  This is Julie from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with you today. What better way to have fun than a cute QKR Stampede image, a matching sentiment, and some pretty, springtime Timeless Twine to go with it?

I colored this adorable QKR Stampede image and sentiment.  I colored the Springtime Bunny with Copic markers.   I used a few dies on this card -- large heart by Die-namics, half-circle heart die by Memory Box.  The edges of the large heart are inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Spun Sugar. The pink hearts that I wrapped with Timeless Twine were on my desk, left over from a Valentine project. The designer papers are from the My Mind's Eye Dwell 6x6 pad.
The fun twine?  All Timeless Twine, of course!  That goes without saying. I used all 3 twines from the Sorbet Collection (on SALE this month!)

I used Watermelon SorbetKey Lime Sorbet, and Razzleberry Sorbet. Please don't ask me to pick a favorite, because I can't.  I love them all!

Mostly Monochrome Monday

Well, it's Monday again.  Why, oh why does that have to happen EVERY week?!  LOL  Karen N here from from Craftily Yours!

My post today is for Monochrome Monday, but I was tasked to use the very fabulous Timeless Twine in one of the Sorbet colors!  These fabulous twines are duo-colored, so here's what I did for MOSTLY Monochrome Monday!

We were asked also to something Spring.  It's been Spring here in No California since Fall.....so I got this.  That beautiful twine is Razzleberry Sorbet Timeless Twine, and I used some pretty Bella Creationz White Frost Sequins (coming soon).  Love sequins!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Have you "liked" Timeless Twine on Facebook yet?  You should, so you stay up on all the lovely twine-tastic goodness....  And while you are browsing around, go see all the lovelies at the Bella Creationz Shop!  Be sure to check out the hecka-good deal on Sorbet twine this month!

Whaley Love You!

Debbie from Craftin Chaos and although I wish I would have had time to make more than I did I really love this tag. The colors I love and it goes perfect with the "Razzleberry Sorbet" twine. All the sorbets are on sale this month and we have been sharing projects with all of them the whole month.

This was a fast project but sometimes that isn't a bad thing. I loved this little whale and the color I used was perfect match. I pop dotted the sentiment and the whale.

Stop over and grab some of the Sorbet twine while it is on sale! They are my favorites!!

Bird with a French Fry

I'm loving all these projects with the Timeless Twine in Sorbet colors!  Did you know it's on sale?!  That's right, you can get your own spool for a heck of a deal!!!  These are such fun colors.  My card uses the fabulous Razzleberry Sorbet (pink and aqua blue twisted).  What is a Razzleberry anyway?!

I love this sentiment.  Every day, we should all make every effort to be happy, don't you think?  For more details, be sure to check out my blog.

Craftily yours,

Karen

Shake it!

Hi there, Deb from Craftin Chaos and we are showcasing the Sorbet Collection all month long. They are  on sale this month. You can get a great deal on the set of 3 or buy them individually.

I made two shaker cards. I intended to use some cute camera paper I had but it was too much pattern for the entire card so I just used an accent of it on the camera card. The sequins are from Bella Creationz as well as the stamps I used for both cards. I will have links to everything below.

I cut the polaroid about 6 times and layered those pieces and added foam to just give it alot of dimension.

The crab is a Miss Kate's Cuttable file. The camera is just from the silhouette store. Not sure who created it.

The camera paper is from Simple Stories I believe. I had purchased Simple Stories "DIY Boutique" and Kaisercraft "Happy Snaps" and was hoarding these papers. I finally cut some to make planner dividers that I will share on here on another post so I had some scraps I used on the camera card.

The year 2013 is almost over...
...so here is my project for welcoming 2014.
As my daughters are too young for adult beverages I got them a bottle of sparkling Apple cider for the new year's toast and made a cute tag for it.
I used Razzleberry Sorbet and Aqua Blue twines for this project.

Snow Adorable!

Hello everyone Brianna here from Happy Scrapper. I figured that since Halloween was over, I can start making Christmas cards and sharing them. I am guilty to say that I didn't wait until after Halloween to start listening to Christmas music. I hope I can get you all in the Christmas spirit with my whimsical card.
Now if these sweet little snow people and Timeless twine don't put you in the mood for Christmas, then I don't know what will. I used some very pretty and vibrant Razzleberry Sorbet Timeless Twine to attach to my snow persons pet snowflake. I also used some Lemonade Yellow twine to add to the earmuffs on my snow friend. I colored these cuties in using my Spectrum Noirs by Crafters Companion.
Pattern Paper: Snow Day Paper Pack 1~ Crate Paper ,Digital
Paper Doilies
Teal & Pink Ribbon
Brad
Snowflake Sequences
Glittered white snowflake
Sentiment : My Pink Stamper
I hope you all enjoyed my first of many Holiday cards!? Thank you all for stopping by and taking a peak at my creation, until next time.
Brianna

Fun in the Sun Layout

Good Morning Twine Fans!!

Today I'm sharing a summer layout with you.  I'm sad that summer will be coming to an end soon.  I'm definitely going to miss going to the water park with my boys.  I'm also going to miss sleeping in and spending our weekends out on our boat in Lake Havasu, AZ.

I used the Key Lime Sorbet, Razzleberry Sorbet & Watermelon Sorbet on my layout. The paper & chipboard is from the Carta Bella Cool Summer collection.

Don't forget the Sketch challenge is still going on.

You have until 08/31/13 11:59PM EST. You can find all the details HERE.  I hope you'll join the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.
