Tween/Teen BFF Birthday Cupcake

Hi everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs. For today's project I decided to make a BFF cupcake holder. I wanted the colors and embellishments to be fun, wild and bright for a grungy pink, punk rock look. I really love how it turned out, what girl wouldn't want to give this to her rocking BFF!

I used the "Tuxedo Black" Timeless Twine and "Happy Days" stamp set from Bella Creationz. The cupcake box is from the Silhouette store, design# 76521, I used the TH die "Ticket Strip" for the sentiment, Kaisercraft background stamps, swirl embossing folder, inks and believe it or not, stickers too. The use of twine, is definitely the icing on the cake or in this case, cupcake.

Enjoy...

Fun Friday!

Happy Friday, everyone!  Ashley here from Marine Wife's Scrappin' Life for Fun Friday.  I have to apologize first off, because I completed my projects then realized just a few moments before posting that I was supposed to use a particular stamp set this month.  I'm so sorry, guys!!!

For Fun Friday this week, I decided to make mortarboard tassels with Timeless Twine, as I needed a couple of graduation cards and had never made tassels for a card.  I think they turned out pretty cute!

It's a little hard to see, but the twine is wrapped around a black brad in the center of the "mortarboard."

Supplies Used
Black brads--stash
Cuttlebug embossing folders

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great weekend everyone!

Say Cheese Mini Album

Hi everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs, today at Timeless Twine it is Fun Friday...Create something fun! So for my project I made a Camera Mini Album, I've had these awesome papers from Simple Stories "Say Cheese" Collection, that I thought matched perfectly for this project.

I used Cherry Red, Lemonade Yellow and Tuxedo Black twine and  from Bella Creationz the Kraft and Gray reinforcement stickers. I liked the use of twine in place of the metals rings that are typically used on mini albums, I think it gives it a softer more playful look.

The svg file is from the Silhouette store #43482, I did use the opening on the reverse side, just a preference of mine. I also cut out additional layers for the center of the tag and the top piece of the tag in various colors of papers, I created those  cuts on my own.

Enjoy...

Tag it Tuesday : Loved

Hi, how are you guys?
Padni is here and I want to share with you what I made for Tag it Tuesday using pretty Tuxedo Black twines from Timeless Twine. I love to make a single page 12x12 layoust.  I used supplies from Timeless Twine, Crate Paper, Webster Pages, October Afternoon and Maggie Holmes. I put the three-tags on the layout and then I used Timeless Twine as the title of the page. Here is my layout below.

Playing with Timeless Twine is a fun time for me. I love the end result and using twine as the page title is my first time experience. I hope you will try too to make page title using twines from Timeless Twine. Surely it will give you a great result. Here is the twine I used :

Have a happy scrapping time with Timeless Twine products! See you soon guys on my next blog posting.

Hap'bee' Birthday with Timeless Twine

Ashley here, with some Thursday inspiration for you from Timeless Twine!

I really like the play on words from this sentiment, and I was lucky enough to find some yellow and black honeycomb paper in my stash.  The Lemonade Yellow and Tuxedo Black Timeless Twine colors worked perfectly to add that last little something!

Congratulations graduate!

Rose here with a super fun easy gift box that is perfect for a graduate. I found this cut file in the Silhouette shop and decided to make it using the schools colors of Orange and Black.

The Big Congrats stamp set from Inspired by Stamping goes perfect with the cap. I used some yummy Timeless Twine from Bella Creationz to create the tassel and add the bow.

Have a twine-tastic weekend!!!

Timeless Twine & Lawn Fawn Cross Promo Day #1

Day #1

**Links to products are at the bottom of each DT members posts.

First up is Twine-ista Brianna ~ Happy Scrapper
For my card I used the fun new stamp set called "Let's Roll"  and 6x6 petite paper pad "Let's Polka" by Lawn Fawn. I also used my all time favorite twine by Timeless Twine called Strawberry Cupcake.
I stamped and colored my images using Spectrum Noirs. I got the inspiration for my card via Pinterest.

My second card  made using the same Lawn Fawn Stamp Set and "Lets Polka Dot" Paper pad but switched up my color of twine. I decided to use some Olive Green, Timeless Twine on this card by adding some stitching. I pulled the twine apart and got rid of the white portion so I could just use the green.
Once again I colored my images in using my Spectrum Noirs.

Products I used:

Next up is Twine-ista Julie!

I made two cards for today's hop.  Both cards used the "Hello Sunshine" paper and the "Float my Boat" stamp set. I love to kayak and my favorite vacation spot is Lake Superior, so this stamp set was so much fun for me!
I'll tell you the Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz products after I show you the cards.  I'm so excited to show you!
First, my anchor card:

I braided some Tuxedo Black Timeless Twine to make my 'rope' for the anchor.
Now, for card #2, my sailboat card:

I found the file for this step card at SVG Attic.  I modified it a bit to fit my needs. I stamped the sailboat directly on to a Bella Creationz Kraft tag, then I did a little paper piecing because sailboats HAVE to have colorful sails! I stamped a little more, adding some waves and sea gulls, then made a multi bow from Lemon Yellow, Aqua Blue, and Cherry Red Timeless Twine.
Here's a close up of the tag...
and, a close up of the sentiment, with some waves in the background:

There'll be a whole week of sharing ideas on both the Timeless Twine and Lawn Fawn blogs, so check out all the fantastic projects from these 2 amazing teams!

Last but not least Twine-ista Tara

Hi everyone! I chose to work with the adorable new set, Wish You Were Here! I have had my eye on this set since CHA previews and couldn't wait to start creating with it! I combined these fun stamps with the bright and happy 6x6 papers from the Let's Polka collection for some super fun, super cute projects!

The Wish You Were Here stamp set is perfect for creating cards and gifts for those special people in your life that are far away and my first project shows some ways to package up a little gift or love note to send to them. Who wouldn't love to get one of these brightly colored packages in the mail!?!

Each package features a different pattern of the Let's Polka paper and the fun arrows and hearts from the Wish You Were Here stamp set. I also added in a sweet sentiment from the set along with the charming flag and lots of twine!

More bright arrows and a fun twine wrapped tag along with a shiny brad highlight this gift holder!

Here I have braided some of the fantastic Timeless Twine colors for a beautiful bow and created a mini card for the package. Perfect size for a gift card too!

My next project is a card that really shows off the colorful, happy designs of the paper collection! I am a sucker for polka dots and hearts and wanted to show off as many as possible! I cut out the great state of Colorado (home for me) and added some bright pink twine in the background and a tiny heart from the stamp set. The finishing touches are a happy arrow, a banner sentiment and some twisted twine! This will be perfect to send to my daughter who lives far away from home!

The inside features more happy banner flags and a simple yet heartfelt sentiment!
