Is it "winter-y" where you are?

Hello there!  This is my first post as a new member of the Bella Creationz & Timeless Twine Design Team!  I'm super excited to be here and can't wait to hear from many of you through the year!

My name is Jenni Shamblin with Wish I Was Scrappin!  My first project has a winter-y theme, although winter in Florida isn't too bad!  Not much snow happening here!

For my project I used Graphite Gray twine and Sparkly Clear sequins both from Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine!  The paper is made by Carta Bella - All Bundled Up and the brads are from my stash.

Thanks for visiting and leaving me some love!  Also be sure to visit Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine for all sorts of goodies!!

Until next time, stay warm.....Jenni

Shake, Shake, SHAPE

Woohoo, it's Friday!  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. As I'm sure our loyal blog readers have surmised by now, we are shaking it up this month.  Today, I'm bringing you a shaped card.  Shaker cards are so popular right now, so I decided on a shaped shaker card (say that 3 times fast!)

This shaker card is a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe.  His body just needed to be wrapped with some luscious Graphite Gray Timeless Twine.  A Bubble Gum Pink Timeless Twine double bow topped it off.  See the "amazing" sentiment?  I stamped it on a White Heart Sticker, found in the Bella Creationz Store

The papers used on the card are from My Mind's Eye. I filled my shaker card with some beads I got from a friend.
Thanks for stopping by today!  Shake on!

☆♡{A Stitch With Twine}♡☆

It's Thursday and time for me to share another Timeless Twine post with you.

Easter has already come and admist all of the celebrating, there are two goofy dogs who love hard boiled eggs.

Much to their dismay, Daddy and Paddy ate the two cracked eggs that were reserved for them. Not to be outdone, Cinna and Meg skulked around the kitchen, skimming the countertops with sniffy noses..hoping to catch wind of the eggs.

These goofy dogs were soon banished so that anual egg coloring could commence. The picture in the layout displays hope filled, pouting dogs...the latter being the funniest part of all.

It's all about the title on this layout. This is a fun way to make a big impact. You can add a personal touch to your layouts, using your own handwriting.

The first thing you need to do is write out what you'd like to get across..whether it's a word, a phrase, a number, etc.

The next step is to use a paper piercer and pierce what you wrote out. You know what comes next of course, stitching it. That's the lengthy part, but it's worth it.

You can stitch it right onto the page, card, etc. or do what I did and use a separate piece of paper and then later adhere it to your project.

Check out the layout and the twine ♡ I used Graphite Gray to stitch the title, you can find it by clicking *{HERE}*

HIPPO HIPPO HOORAY!

Debbie from Bugjuiced here today and I am excited to share this because its something I made for my daughter. Her birthday is in a few days and since we were to make a 3D item I wanted to make it something that was actually going to be of use to me. I already made her a cute owl card cause she loves owls and you can see that card tomorrow on my blofor my cardz tv post and the other thing we have always collected was Hippo's. My daughters last name is Hipp so thus the hippo comes to play.

I thought this file was super cute and I knew that the twine would be a great accent for the strings. The file is from svgcuttingfiles.com and I used Bubblegum pink, Pink Raspberry and Graphite Gray twine. I have links to those colors below. I love the way it turned out.

She will be turning 28....dear lord does that make me feel old...er. I can remember when she was a curlie headed blonde running around. She has been on a special diet and works out all the time so I may have to replace the candy with maybe paper clips or something ha ha! She can use them on her desk! No really I will package up some trail mix or something healthy like that and hope it doesn't make me ill touching healthy stuff. She was and IS such a good girl and I am so proud of her. I have a cute picture of her on my blog. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDSAY!!! <3

Hey Valentine!

Hey Everyone, Kristy here today sharing a couple of cute and fun Valentine's projects. Valentine's is quickly upon us (It's Friday!!) and I know I'm a pro-craftinator and always wait until the last minute to throw those V-day treats together. So, I'm sharing a few quick and easy ideas with you today that should help with those last minute v-days gifts/treats.

First, I have this super cute Valentine box. For this box, I broke the binding on the box and whipped out the {old school} Quickutz Dies. I placed the die on the front panel and ran it through my Big Shot and I did the same on the back panel as well. I then cut five 1 and 3/8 in panels to cover the top and four sides. I took two of the panels and ran them through the Big Shot with the same die as I cut the panel out with, then I adhered the panels to the outside of the box. I flipped the box over and put some Scor-tape along the edges of the heart on the front and back panel, cut a TON of twine into short strips, and then placed the twine across the heart. The front and back panel both have a twine heart. You can then place a Bath & Body Works mini candle in there, some candy, or some jewelry and then wrap some more twine around and tie it in a bow, or you can add a big fluff of twine on the time like in the picture below.

Next, I have this super fun treat bag. I took the kraft bags from Bella Creations and stamped random heart images all over the bag. I also used the clear candy treat bags and loaded them with some yummy Valentine colored Sixlets and filled the other one with two pencils. I cut a tag out on my Silhouette using a Scraptastical Kreations SVG file, and I did a print and cut as well. I typed the sentiment out in my Silhouette program and then printed it then cut it out. I then adhered it to the background, punched two holes, and pulled some Timeless Twine Graphite Gray through one hole, wrapped it around the bag and pulled it through the other hole and tied a bow. Easy peasy!

PS - It does say "Hey Valentine!", but the twine was being uncooperative!

Here are the items I used for my projects today.
