*{Finding Joy}*

"It's that time of year...where the world falls in love,
Every song you hear seems to say,
Merry Christmas
May your New Year dreams come true...."

Mr. Sinatra this may be true for some of us...but others are trying to run in the other direction. I am one of those gooey eyed dreamers who is already seeing snowflake bokeh everywhere. I like to think that it's contagious and I can bring you to the dark side...but I know this simply isn't true.

However, don't focus on all of those lists, obligations, "to-do's", etc. Don't let them creep in and bring you down, instead look for the kind smiles, listen for the giggles of the little ones, the magic around every corner...if you're looking of course. Your time and smiles are more of a gift than anything else. People get so caught up in making this "the perfect time"...but you have to remember that perfection comes in times of imperfection..and sometimes mistakes, like the ruined cookie batter that becomes rolled cookie balls that you keep in the refrigerator...make perfection out of the imperfection and enjoy this year! That's my challenge to you this holiday season.

I used Strawberry Cupcake for this card. It was the perfect punch of color!

Remember CHOOSE JOY and have a great Tuesday!

★{That Moment When...}★

You may have experience with this one: ...you know, the one where you look over at your little boy and realize...he's not little anymore. I'm a little mushy lately, all the milestones in our family happen in the fall, and Paddy's birthday is coming up. He's grown into this amazing, hilarious, slightly snotty young man and I guess I wasn't prepared for it to happen quite so soon!

I created this layout for today's post using a picture that I was lucky enough to capture...that didn't involve an eye roll...trying to flip me the bird (because that is ginourmously funny these days)...or some lunatic expression. Good pictures are fleeting these days, so I had to get it down on paper right away.

I am especially stuck in Natural White and Graphite Gray lately, I can't seem to get enough of using it on all of my projects...you'll see it pictured above.

Have a fantastic Tuesday and keep checking back on our blog daily for inspiration from the fabulous Twine-ista's!

❤{Thankful Tuesday}❤

Make this your mantra: "I will be grateful for this day."

Some days are totally terrible, I get it. It seems like a lot of people I am surrounded by is having a tough time, I fully understand. In the midst of that, remember that you can turn your day around.  Remember that you are loved, remember that you are worth it, remember that you are somebody's everything.

I created a Thanksgiving card for today's post:

*{October...is the best month of the year}*

“I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."

- L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

October is my favorite month. My Grandpa was born in October, my mom was born in October, my Angel-girl was born in October, the leaves start changing, Jack The Pumpkin King is lurking...and The Great Pumpkin rises up out of the pumpkin patch...

My momma's birthday is this week..and I already let her know not to look, because her card is a spoiler today for that I am sharing with you!

I created this card just for her. It will be making it's way to Michigan.

I used Krazy for Kraft for this project.

Have a fabulous Tuesday! Thank you for stopping by!! Check back tomorrow for even more inspiration from our Twine-ista's!

*{Timeless Twine & Peachy Keen Fun Continues!}*

I'm sure by now you've guessed that there's a ton of combined scrappy goodness going on between Timeless Twine & Peachy Keen!

There's tons more coming your way (all the way through the 29th!)...and you need to pop in each day, the Twine-ista's and the Peachy Keen girls have a ton of inspiration and variety!

I'm sharing a layout I created using a plethora of Timeless Twine and a very cute stamp set from Peachy Keen!

Here's a close up of some of the details:

I know that Christmas seems so far away & you can't even think of it at the moment....I know, I've yelled at the K-Mart commercial too...pressuring me and junk to start thinking about Christmas...it's still in the high 80's here in Hades...it's not even a blip on my radar...minus this card of course:

Here's the products I used:

Have a great Tuesday & make sure you check back tomorrow for even more combined scrappy goodness!

❤{Best Wishes on this Timeless Twine Tuesday}❤

It's already Tuesday! I love that about short weeks.

I'm sharing this cheery card of well wishes with you today. It's always a good card to have on hand and it's always appreciated when received.

I am working on creating more cards because I am working on things about myself that I need to change...and this fits in on the agenda. ❤

Without further ado, here's a well wish for you too..that you have a good Tuesday, a good week and a good September!

I used Pumpkin Orange, Lemonade Yellow and Strawberry Cupcake. I am on a big complimentary color kick right now...and these colors work so well together! You can find these and so much more at Bella Creationz!

*{Timeless Twine & Meg}*

Q: How do these two things go together you ask?
A: Perfectly.

Meg is a stand out..she's ridiculously silly. She's perfect in such an imperfect way. She compliments our family...even if we all at one point have wanted to open the door and say..."Go! Run!"

Her face, her sweet face saves her...sometimes it's the only thing that saves her...see above.

This picture....it was an instant I must scrap. It was an instant...I have the perfect embellishment I want to use with it....Pumpkin Orange Twine. I also realize...I chose Pumpkin Orange because I am literally pining for Fall!

*{A Sweet Timeless Twine Tuesday To You}*

You may not know this about me, but I am card challenged. I set out all the time to create card greatness..but then it turns out all "meh"....so if I share a card with you, it's a *thud* moment.

One of my very sweetest friends ever, Kristina is pregnant with a sure to be sweet baby boy and I may or may not be creating small things to send to her when he is born.

I used Lemonade Yellow and the new Sorbet Collection Color Key Lime Sorbet:

Have a great Tuesday!!

*{sending prayers}*

Good morning! I know the title is kind of a bummer...but we've all been there. Sometimes you're the one who needs prayers, and other times you're the person feeling helpless, not knowing what to say. It's simple...there are never words that are profound or fixable when someone you care about is grieving. Send your prayers. Prayers do make a difference. They are heard and answered. Here's a card I created for my Auntie Sandy and Uncle Alan. It's simple, but speaks volumes. Thanks for letting me share with you today.

*{Independence Inspiration}*

It's Tuesday! Here I am again. And yes, that's a patriotic card you're ogling at again. There was something about The Robin's Nest papers and the Timeless Twine together that worked so beautifully together. I love working with red, white and blue. The papers have such a great texture and are so easy to distress and work with. Coupled with Timeless Twine, it all just comes together flawlessly.

Thanks for taking a peek at my card today!

Here's a close up of some of the details, you can see how nicely the papers flow together.

Have a wonderful Tuesday and make sure you check back tomorrow! The Twine-ista's are creating some WONDERFUL stuff!!

*{Some Fourth for the 4th}*

I didn't realize the irony of my post today until I looked at the card I created and the date of this post. I am certain you can guess the subject matter of my card at this point. I was getting a jumpstart on the summer holiday, in my mind this sounds good! I also love working with red and blue..so that would have something to do with it as well, I'm sure.

All month long, Timeless Twine is celebrating alongside The Robin's Nest. The Robin's Nest was super generous and sent products for each of us Twine-ista's to work with. I received some Fleur Cardstock and some Boarding School papers to work with.

It inspired me to create this card. I used Timeless Twine's fantastic selection of twine (Aqua Blue, Cherry Red and Natural) alongside the Robin's Nest great papers!

Here's a few close ups of the twiney goodness and Robin's Nest details.

Make sure you keep checking all month long for great inspiration from The Twine-ista's and The Robin's Nest! The Robin's Nest Design Team is working with Timeless Twine all month long putting their own spin on great designs!

❤ Have a great Tuesday!!

*{Getting Past Pouty Monday}*

Mondays are never well received in our household by anyone. This hits our baby dog (who actually isn't a baby, seeing as how she's almost 6)  Nutmeg hardest it seems. She is a cling on dog and she demands constant contact. Everyone leaving her is not acceptable...being stuck with me is apparently, also unacceptable. The layout I created using Graphite Gray and Cape Cod clearly shows everyone what Meg thinks of Mondays. She literally pouts and the kids tease her and call her big baby dog. This is definitely something they will want to look back on and remember.

She's ridiculous, but we love her dearly.

I used Graphite Gray Cape Cod for the stitched circles:

Here's hoping your Tuesday is remarkably better than Pouty Monday!

*{Twining Like A Boss}*

The backstory on today's layout...my Dad is notorious for photobombing. He does it on purpose with great gusto. There are people who visited Disney's Animal Kingdom who found themselves asking, "Who is that scary guy in sunglasses peeking over Uncle Ray's shoulder?" or simply..."What the heck?"....so now it's a tradition for us to have a picture with Pop doing something silly in the background. I wanted the twine to pop (no pun intended) and not be overwhelming at the same time...so the stitches are the perfect touches and stand on their own. ❤

I used Cherry Red and Aqua Blue on my layout, thanks for looking!!

Don't forget about the Mother's Day Challenge going on all month also!!! You can read about it HERE.
