Halloween Spooky Projects & New Twine Color!!!

WELLLLLLL my pretties we finally made it to halloween didn't we. Debbie from Bugjuiced here. Now what will I do since I SHOULDN'T make anymore halloween projects after today....but I love them!

Today I am showing the BOOOOTIFUL new color that Timeless Twine has cooked up in its Cauldron!!
BLACK KRAFT!!!! I love the name too cause it sounds SPOOKY!!!! I wish I could add sound effects as there would be a whole lot of witches Cackles and spooky noises!

I used a couple Silhouette file for my projects. I love them! They cut so good and then the score lines are always fantastic. Look at the thin lines it cut in this lantern! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
My cricut would have never cut this so cleanly or intricately. I am still amazed at this machine.

Doesn't this twine look awesome!! Be sure to go grab you some at Bellacreations! There is tons of other colors to choose from....remember Christmas is just days away! Time sure flys!!! (another witches Cackle going on up in here)

Dear Santa Mini Notebooks

Hi everyone!  It's Kassidy from Inking It Up Crazy.  With Halloween just a few days away, I decided to show you a fun and easy Christmas project (yes, CHRISTMAS).  This would be great for your little kids to get their hands all crafty and design their own.

I made a mini notebook that can be used for writing all their Christmas wishes for Santa.  It is so small it and could easily fit inside your purse/handbag without taking too much room for when you also want to pick up a little gift for them ;)

I know in the next couple of weeks when everyone starts on the Christmas projects, there will be a lot of cute Christmas paper scraps around.  Those scraps are great for the notebooks.

Here is what I came up with:
Recipe:
  • Mini Notebooks (found at dollar store, comes with a set of 3)
  • Paper (from my Christmas scraps ;)
  • Die/Stamp (My Creative Time)
  • Stamp (My Pink Stamper)
  • Bling
  • Twine (Cherry Red)

Thanks for stopping by today!  See you all next time!
Hugs, Kassidy

Halloween Sign: Cristina

Hi Twine Lovers

Today  I just wanted to share with you this adorable Halloween Sign that I made with my Timeless Twine

Untitled
Halloween Sign

I make my twine extra strong  so I can use it to hang the sign
I turned it into a Twine Rope.

I took a long Length of Twine (you want this to be about 4-5 times longer than you need it to be).

I folded it Half

I then handed the ends  Length to DH and kept the other end in my hand. At the same time we just twisted the ends very tightly until the whole twine was folded in Half

Carefully we walked back together  to make your ends meet. and Found the middle. Holding only "new middle" we let go of the other ends, and the two twisted ends entertwine together.

at this point the Yarn Twine will be very twisted together, you just need to straighten it you

I'm probably describing it horribly but it's really super simple.

1. super long twine
2. fold in half
3. twist twist twist
4. fold in half.
5. Only hold by new "half"
6. Straighten out
7. tie a knot in one of the ends
8. use in your project

I think I need to make a video on how to do this. It's easy I swear!

Untitled
if you look close you can see how my twine is now rope!!

I also used my Timeless Twine to Attach the Sign Boards together

Untitled

To do this, all you do is thread your twine together the holds in your board a few times. I think the magic number is 3. Then take 1 end of the string and wrap it around the  middle of the strings that between the signs (hopes this makes sense) and take the other end, wrap it around, then tie it in a bow

Hope you like my project and that it gives you more ideas on how you use your twine

have a great day!

Curlie Zombie Girl Layout

Hey there! Debbie with Bugjuiced here sharing a cute little 8x8 layout I did for Timeless Twine. I originally planned to put my Zombie (Zombalina) on a 3D object but the box I cut ended up not being big enough and I had spent so much time working on the project I was tired!!! So I decided to do a layout.

This zombie girl is from a Treasurebox Designs. Its called "Me and My Ghoulfriend" and I just chose to do the girl. I just left it the same size as what it came into my program.

I took "Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive" and squirted some in a bowl and added water. I mixed it up real good and then put my twine in the bowl to soak for a minute. I used a metal Skewer to wrap the twine around (I think you could find them at Bed Bath and Beyond) and then layed it aside to dry.

Once it was dry I carefully pulled it off the skewer...skewer I just like to say that word!

I cut it into several different pieces and attached it to the back of my top piece. I think it turned out pretty cute and I don't usually say that!

I used Timeless Twine Purple Passion Twine!! Grab you some!!!

Where did the year go?
This time of year is my favorite!!!
Living in the south for the past 15 years
makes me miss the north and the turning

nice cool crisp air.

Halloween is right around the corner.

but my lil' Diva wants to be "Hit Girl".
Should be interesting.  I will be going as a
over tired Mommy, LOL!
