{Notes}

Hey Everyone!

It's Kristy here and today I'm sharing a cute, fun and very simple teacher's gift with all of you. With the end of the year fast approaching, this would be a cute and quick gift for any teacher!

The notepad and the pen match and on the inside is a mini, skinny notepad that I bought from Staples and had them cut down for me as well. I used some Aqua Blue timeless twine to wrap around the notepad to hold the pen in place, which worked perfectly and brought out the blue in the paper as well.

You can certainly let your imagination go on these and use them for grocery lists, notes, to-do lists, and so many other things and they really do make the perfect little gift, even if it's not for a teacher!

Hello Spring

Hey Everyone!!

Well, Spring is upon us, however, I am NOT feeling the snowy cold days that have brought snow with them. That is not my idea of spring. So, I decided to create a fun spring card that was sure to bring some spring joy to my life {lol}.

I am on a super huge stitch on paper kick! I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! For the butterfly, I cut out a butterfly on my cameo and lightly traced around it with a pencil. I then used one of my American Craft stitching stencils to judge the placement of the holes. I untwisted the twine and used one of each color, so that it was a "thinner", as I didn't want it to be too thick. And, I also put a bit of watercolor on the edge and added dimensional dots to give it some dimension. I really love how these butterflies came out. They were def the perfect touch of spring I needed!

I used the following products to create this card.

SALE - Purple Passion Bakers Twine by Timeless Twine - 1 Spool (160 Yards) Purple Bakers Twine

Lemonade Yellow Bakers Twine by Timeless Twine

SALE - Aqua Blue Bakers Twine by Timeless Twine

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you all have a twine-tastic day!!

Happy Birthday

Hey Everyone!!

It's Kristy from Scraptastical Kreations here today sharing a cute little birthday gift with all of you. It's my son's girlfriend's birthday today, so I decided to make her a cute little mini album/tag note book type thing (lol). She can do a lot of different things with the little mini book.

So, here is my mini book gift

I used the kraft bags from Bella Creationz to give the book a fun packaging. I also used the Timeless Baker Twine in kraft brown as well. For the mini book, I used a file from the Silhouette store and cut it out on my Cameo. The kraft bag really gives this album such boost and it's awesome to serve the purpose of packaging and a card. The twine adds that little extra touch as well.

Here are the products I used

50 Small Brown Kraft Bags - PRINTABLE BAGS - Candy Buffet Bags

Puppy Cuddles

Happy Tuesday, Everyone!!

It's Kristy here from Scraptastical Kreations sharing a fun layout with all of you! I hope you all are staying warm in this crazy arctic weather we're experiencing across the country! So, as you know our theme this month's theme is "new" and since it was crazy cold out this weekend, I spent it scrapping our NEW puppy. I've been eagerly waiting to scrap a page of her and I finally captured this super cute photo a few days ago. I'm so excited that I now get to use a NEW color on my layouts - PINK!! Yes!! Ok.. ok... let's take a peek at my layout.

Here are a few close ups

Those gold letters - to die for!

I misted the wood veneer, but I think I should have colored it with a marker instead, or just have inked the edges black or done something different. It's hard to see what it says, which is "The Sweetest Thing". On the hearts, I used stickles and I'm VERY impatient when it comes to waiting for things to dry, so I heated it with my heat gun and low and behold I got this really cool "crackle" type effect on them. I love the texture it gives!

I LOVE  how the Timeless Twine Tuxedo Black and the Bella Creationz Valentine Parcel Tags add the perfect touch to this layout.

For this layout I used the following

Bella Creationz Valentine Parcel Tags
30 Small Valentine Gift Tags Parcel Tags - Red, White & Pin Valentines Tags

SALE - Tuxedo Black Bakers Twine - TIMELESS TWINE

Coordinations Cardsock
Recollections White Cardstock
The Paper Studio Patterned Paper
The Paper Studio Puffy Alpha stickers (Gold)
Recollections Bling Clips
Recollections  Bling
American Crafts Precision Pen
Signo White Gel Pen
American Crafts Remarks Alpha Stickers
Studio Calico Wood Veneers
Stickles - Gold
Sequins

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a twine-tastic day!

LOVE Mini Album

Hey Everyone!!

Kristy here from Scraptastical Kreations and I'm going to be sharing bits and pieces of my new en-devour; a mini album. I have always LOVED mini albums, but I have always been intimidated by them. So, this year I'm putting my mind to trying new things and this is one of them! {**Confession**} I LOVE making them! I don't know what I was so scared about to begin with, but man-o-man, I was really missing out! However, I have not completed the whole album as of yet, but I will have it done very soon. I will be sharing the entire album via You Tube, as well as on my blog if you would like to see the finished product be sure to stop by and follow my personal blog. So, let's get to it and take a peek!

This is the inside cover of the album.

This is the first page in the album

Now we're going to flip the page; this is the left side.
I have a little more to add to this side, but I ran into a roadblock and had to walk away for a bit.

Here's the right side

Now you want to know all the fabulous Timeless Twine and Bella Creations goodies I used on these mini album pages? LOTS!

Glassine Bags - 3" x 5-1/2" - Set of 100
I used these on the inside of the front cover to hold the tags/photo mats.

SALE - Bubble Gum Pink Bakers Twine by Timeless Twine
This is used on the first page of the album on the top note die-cut. Perfect touch!

4" Paper Lace Doilies - Set of 25 - "FREE SHIPPING"
Also used these on the first page as well. I spritzed them with some mist, let dry and cut them into quarters. I added them to the corners of the first page.

SALE - Graphite Gray Bakers Twine by Timeless Twine - 1 Spool (160 Yards)
I used the Graphite Gray on the left side of the second page to hold the charm.

Valentine's Day Bakers Twine by Timeless Twine - Strawberry Cupcake Valentine's Twine

SALE - Cherry Red Bakers Twine by Timeless Twine - 1 Spool (160 Yards)

Both of the Valentine's Day twine and the Cherry Red twine will be used through out the entire album, as they match my paper and theme perfectly.

Well, that's all for now. I hope I have inspired everyone to try something new this year! Don't let those things you THINK you cannot do get the best of you. You can do it, so go for it and step outside of that comfort zone and go for it!

Don't forget to stop by and follow my personal blog if you would like to see the completed mini album. Thanks for stopping by today to peek at my project. I hope you all have a twine-tastic day!!

Hugs,

Kristy

Snowman Soup

Hey Everyone!

It's Kristy here from Scraptastical Kreations and today I'm sharing with you all a fun and cute way to package up some snowman soup! I seen this idea on You Tube, so it's not my original idea, but I loved it so much I did a bunch of these for a craft fair I was in over the weekend.

For this I used the Chocolate Chip Twine and the Natural Twine

Oh Christmas

Hey Everyone!!

It's Kristy here sharing a Christmas layout with all of you! It's that time of year and I have been in the holiday spirit and thought I would get caught up (ha, ha I'll never be "caught up"), on some old Christmas photos! I just love these photos of my boys (this is only one of them) from about... mmm.. 4/5 years ago (Yes, I'm that far behind!).

Here's my layout

For this layout I used the Cherry Red Timeless Twine and in this case, less IS more!! I love how little twine I used, but it makes a BIG statement!!

Image of Cherry Red TIMELESS TWINE™

The Cherry Red Twine is PERFECT-O for Christmas projects, layouts, and cards. I also used some My Big Ideas Christmas paper that I picked up from Tuesday Morning. The paper and the Twine go perfectly together! I also used some Making Memories paint to splatter on the layout.

Thank you all for taking a peek at my layout today! I hope you all have a twine-tastic day!!

Noted...

Happy Tuesday, Everyone!!

It's Kristy here from Scraptastical Kreations and I'm sharing a layout with all of you today. I've been itching to get some of the photos from the "mini photo shoot" I did with my son at the end of August, so that it was I chose to do for this one. I don't get the opportunity to photograph him much anymore; he's 15! So, I jumped at this chance to get some updated photos of him. This one is my favorite!!

For this layout I used the following:

Image of Gray Bakers Twine by Timeless Twine - "Graphite Gray"
Authentique Paper - Curiosity Collection
Basic Grey Chipboard - Hey You
SVG Tag & Flag Tabs - Scraptastical Kreations
Heidi Swapp - Felt Heart Stickers
KI Memories - Softie stickers
Misc - corrugated stars that I received as a RAK

Thank you all for stopping by today to take a peek at my layout. I hope you all have a twine-tastic day!!

Booo... it's a Ghost

Happy Tuesday, Everyone!!

It's Kristy here from Scraptastical Kreations  today, and  well, if you can believe it, we're only 2 days away from Halloween and that means it's time to kick the treat making into high gear. So, today I'm sharing with all of you a cute, fun and SUPER simple way to dress up some candy treats (lollipops).

Here is my spooky lollipop cover

I bought the Tootsie Pops from the Dollar Tree - the package that has (about) 8 in the package that are all in one package. I split that package up into 4 each. I used some twine to bundle the 4 together underneath the bag. The whole package of 8 was a tid bit too big for the bag to fit over, so I had to go ahead and split them. But, that's ok because I was able to get two of these out of one package and both of my boys will LOVE them!

For the ghost I used the small white kraft bags. I drew the face on the bag and I crumpled the bag up because I wanted the "distressed" look. Then to finish it off I used the Tuxedo Black and Pumpkin Orange (how fitting for Halloween, huh?) to tie the bottom of the bag closed.

Here are the items I used (click on the picture to get yours!!)

Manly Happy Birthday

Hey Everyone!!

It's Kristy here from Scraptastical Kreations and I'm sharing with all of you a "manly" birthday card. I needed a manly birthday card for the Hub's upcoming birthday, and like many, I always struggle to hand make the manly type of birthday cards, but I have one today!

For this card I used the Black and Kraft Timeless Twine and I wrapped the twine around a piece of cardstock to make myself a background out of twine instead of patterned paper. The stamps are from Jaded Blossom.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my card today. I hope everyone has a twine-tastic day!!

Who Loves Fall Embellishment

Good Morining!!

It's Kristy here sharing a fun layout embellishment with all of you. For my post this week, I wanted to do something a bit different and show all of you how some Timeless Twine can fancy up a simple paper piecing. For this embellishment, I added some twine for the boy's shoe laces and a bow on the owl. Using the twine gives it that added dimension and the perfect touch to enhance the embellishment. The paper piecing pattern is from Scraptastical Kreations.

For the bow on the owl, I used the Pumpkin Orange, and for the boys shoe laces, I used Chocolate Chip Brown.

Just For You...

Hey Twine-fanatics!!

It's Kristy here sharing a fun, but very simple card with all of you today!

This card was super simple and fun to create. I used an SVG from Scraptastical Kreations for the kite, and I just added some amazing Timeless Twine for the kite string. I really wanted to add a cute little face to my kite, but my PK stamps are MIA!!

The Graphite Grey was PERFECT for kite string! You can grab some of the graphite grey on the Timeless Twine website
