Always Look on the Bright Side!

Hello Twine-tastic friends!

Melissa here today!

I recently purchased a rainbow die and I wanted to play with my gorgeous twine ASAP!

Just run your die through a cutting machine, add adhesive (one of my fav's is the Xyron sticker maker!) and add the twine!

So fun! I love the font of that stamp set (it's actually my blog header font too!).

And I added some of Annette's fun buttons!

You can find these cutting files on SVCcuttingfiles.com they have some awesome files!!
I used the Natural Twine to braid for the anchor. I love the way that turned out. I also used the Natural Twine for the area around the lifesaver. I used the  Cherry Red Twine for the bows on all of them. I love the way it turned out.

More new colors coming out all the time! Don't forget to stop over and check out all the bags, straws, buttons and more at Bellacreationz/Timeless Twine!

Hello...

Hey All! It's Kristy here sharing this simple "Hello" card with all of you. It's such an easy, simple, and fun way to send a "hello" to your friends or family.

For this card I cut the "hello" out with my Cameo. I cut the top piece a 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base of the card, and then I just positioned the word on my mat using a square the same size as the top piece in my program. That made it easy peasy to position the wordly to cut perfectly where I wanted it to. I love the look of the twine behind a word or shape. I think it makes the whole project just pop.

Here are the colors I used

Graduation....

Hello Everyone!!
Hope you all are enjoying the long weekend!!
Its a super busy time ....with all school closing and Graduations.
Today I'll share a Graduation gift card/money holder with you all....

Here is easy gift card holder... I don't have the Super AWESOME "CAMEO" yet so I made it manually.
Just cut the strips of cardstock and joined the ends to make a tube-like form , then glued the two diecut circles to make the top and the bottom of the box.
Finally added a square topper to make it look like a Grad hat.
Super easy!!!

I used CAPE COD twine to make the tassel...you can use any twine to match the school colors!!

Hope you like this little hat box!!!

Happy Birthday

Happy Thursday Crafty friends!

Melisa from Melisa's Crafty Creations here today with a birthday card.  My son was invited to a classmate's birthday party this weekend so I thought I would make her a card.

I used the Strawberry Cupcake twine for my bow.  I think it matches perfectly with the colors of the cupcake.  I used the Scalloped Circles from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons to make my card base.  The inner scalloped circle is also from the Scalloped Circles cutting files.

The cupcake is from Birthday Panda Cutting files, also from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Sweet Birthday Wishes.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great Memorial Day weekend!!

We're the best of friends!

Happy Wednesday to all, it's Brianna from Happy Scrapper!! I am so excited to share my twine-tastic project with you. Anyone who know me, knows I love cutsie, whimsical projects. I hope you will see that, by the card I'm about to share with you

Image of Raspberry Pink Bakers Twine by Timeless Twine™
I decided to use, one of what seems to be my go to twines, Raspberry Pink to accent my card. I added a bow to my little girl toast and then outlined the word friends, using my glossy accents. This stuff works wonders when trying to make shapes or outline anything because it holds really well and dry's clear. I am sure you are wondering where these little cuties came from!? I got them from the "Stuck on You" set by Lettering Delights. I decided to hide their faces, so I could use some of those oh so sweet Peachy Keen face stamps!! I finished my card up by adding a flower embellishment that I got from
my local scrapbook store.
Also don't forget you still have time to join in on the fun challenge we have going on, right here on the Timeless Twine blog.
Deadline for challenge entries will be May 31, 2013 11:59pm (EST)
Hope you will all find time to join in on the fun!

Have a fantastic day everyone!!
Brianna

*{Getting Past Pouty Monday}*

Mondays are never well received in our household by anyone. This hits our baby dog (who actually isn't a baby, seeing as how she's almost 6)  Nutmeg hardest it seems. She is a cling on dog and she demands constant contact. Everyone leaving her is not acceptable...being stuck with me is apparently, also unacceptable. The layout I created using Graphite Gray and Cape Cod clearly shows everyone what Meg thinks of Mondays. She literally pouts and the kids tease her and call her big baby dog. This is definitely something they will want to look back on and remember.

She's ridiculous, but we love her dearly.

I used Graphite Gray Cape Cod for the stitched circles:

Here's hoping your Tuesday is remarkably better than Pouty Monday!

Thank you...

Hi there!
This is Ana Maria from

As many of you know, I'm a middle school teacher. And today I made a thank you card for a parent volunteer who has graciously decided to clean our staff room.

I absolutely LOVE my colleagues but I've gotta say... some of them are disgusting!!! We've got 3 microwaves, 2 refrigerators, and a toaster oven that have all seen better days. This parent is a saint for offering to clean out. I made this card and one of our administrators is getting her a gift to go with it. We are ever so grateful to this parent =D

Twine Air Freshener

Mandi, here with a pretty homemade air freshener that is decorated with twine and washi tape.
I love to collect empty glass spice jars. I love that they can hold small things, make great vases and now air fresheners.  I added the grey twine around the top to hold the tulle and green twine pom-pom in place and I also glued it in between the tape.
You could fill it with potpourri or do like I did and fill it with baking soda and essential oil.

You Rock!

Hey All!! It's Kristy here sharing a rockin' Father's Day card with all of you!!

Mother's Day is out of the way and now it's time to get those Father's Day cards ready to go. Here's a quick and fun card that totally rocks! You could use this card for any man in your life; it's not just for father's.

I used the twine as the guitar strings for this. I think it adds the perfect "realistic" touch to the guitar.

For this card I used the Natural twine.

If you haven't noticed, this twine is amazing and goes with EVERYTHING!

Thanks for taking a peek at my card today and I hope you all have a twine-tastic day!!
