Pocket Letter Newbie

Debbie here from Craftin' Chaos and I am sharing a brand new thing for me and that is pocket letters. I am super excited to start this and this is not the best but everyone is an amateur at first with anything they start. The whole pocket letter thing has blown up and I see the cutest pocket letters everywhere.

Its another part of scrapbooking but on a much smaller, less overwhelming procedure. Its a way to connect with people all over the world and basically you are to give little bits and pieces to them of your personality but yet of things that appeal to them. There are groups on facebook just for this, there is a whole network to sign up with people to swap pocket letters with.

Basically you pair up with someone that may have a similar taste as you and you share a little letter about yourself, each pocket houses things like stickers, twine, sequins, paperclips etc.

I am really into planners right now so my pocket letter "goodies" were centered around what a planner would love. The pages themselves or cards are something someone could re-use for a little "photo" themed pocket page or even to use on a layout or something.

I used "Oh Snap" stamp set from Bella Creationz and each pocket has various items that are found in the store also.

I used:
Bella Creationz & Timeless Twine
Lemonade twine
Raspberry Lemonade twine
Raspberry twine
Mixed Sequins
Heart Stickers

Hole Reinforcer
Oh Snap stamp set

Shaker Clip for your planner

Debbie here from Craftin' Chaos and today is "Shaker Saturday" and since I have recently gotten into planners I wanted to combine my love of making paperclips with my design team project so a shaker clip was born!

I created the owl file in my silhouette program from scratch. Believe it or not my first run of this worked as far as sizing and everything! I used some clear acetate and cut two circles of it one for the first layer and then I cut multiple layers of the paper to create a raised area for the sequins to sit in cause I was not going to attempt pop dots or foam tape. Then I used another circle of acetate to seal it up and another layer for the back. I love this little clip! The sequins move around great, although I would prefer to use a smaller sequin in this size it still shakes even though it is a small space.

The colors are a fushia pink and a really pretty turquoise color. I used the Raspberry Pink to create a fun tassel to tie onto my planner and a mix of sequins. Some are not in the shop yet (stars etc) but you can find a bunch of mixes Stacy has in the store and more to come!

I didn't actually stamp anything in my planner because the month we are on is Green in my planner and so it just didn't go with the colors I have here so I just moved to a page in my planner that looked good with my tassel and clip. But check out Bella Creationz planner stamps in the shop!

planNERD Sunday!

Ashley here from Marine Wife's Scrappin' Life with the first planNERD Sunday of February!  If you use a daily or monthly planner and you're looking for some stamp sets to help decorate your planner, Bella Creationz has some WONDERFUL ones!  I've never decorated my planner before, so this will be a work in progress.

I use a Daytimer planner with monthly and daily pages:

As you can see, the inside pages of the planner are rather plain.  Thought I would dress them up a little!

I really love the pictures and quotes on the monthly divider pages, but I thought they were a little plain.  I spruced up February's page by outlining the large flower with Raspberry Pink Timeless Twine and adding a few Sparkly Clear sequins from Bella Creationz.

I also added some Aqua Blue and Purple Passion Timeless Twine to the monthly calendar page and used the planNERD and planNERD 2 stamp sets from Bella Creationz to quickly put in some deadlines for the month so I could see things at a glance.

I also used Metallic Silver Stars sequins from Bella Creationz to mark off the projects that I'd completed.  My daily pages are still a work in progress, but here's my page from yesterday:

Just a few simple stamps from the planNERD and planNERD 2 sets makes a world of difference!  I really like the "Hydrate" stamp with the glasses at the bottom, as I'm planning to start keeping up with my water intake, but I'm going to have to find an ink color that's a little darker.

I LOVE the "Project" stamp!  It reminds me of all the places I need to make sure my projects get to once they're finished and published on my blog.

Pocket Scrapbook - Snow Spread w/Stitched Pocket by Amber

Hi!

Amber here from Best Stamped Intentions with another fun post from Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz.

Doesn't the beginning of a new year always feel fresh?
Like that new car smell or laundry right out of the dryer.
In my case, the new car smell is opening a new roll of twine or a new package of PL cards.

I'm simple...what can I say? :)

I've been thinking about how I was going to continue on with my Pocket Scrapbooking recently.  For 2013 and 2014 I've done weekly, and I've been pretty good at keeping up with it.  However, I'm noticing now that Neysa is in pre-school and dance classes, I don't have too much interesting stuff to fill a weekly spread with!!  I've also got a school album (sort of - everything's pulled together and ready to throw in the book!!) started for her, too.

With all that being said, I've decided to take a monthly approach for 2015.

Since January started off with snow here in Utah, I thought it was only fitting to start my 2015 album with a snow spread.

(This page will also serve as the "first" page of my album.)

Remember this??  Well, I wanted to do something like that, only right into my spread instead of doing a separate insert for it.

I filled the pocket with hearts (you'll see that I use hearts on almost everything!!) and sequins (Sparkly Clear for the snowflakes, Raspberry-Pink mix, and graphite gray), and stitched it together with Aqua Blue twine.  I think it turned out quite adorable. :)

In addition to hearts, I'm also a pink addict.  I {love} pink.
I'm sure having a little girl helps feed this addiction!

I loved this turquoise card from Elle's Studio, but it needed a little pop to it.  Add Raspberry-Pink twine, wrapped several times around the card, and ta-da!  Texture and pop added.

Well, that's the end of my starting point of 2015.
Until next time, friends!!

Karen N here from Craftily Yours sharing a fun holiday card in fun non-traditional colors!

I love this image and sentiment from Unity and felt that it needed super happy colors!  What better super happy color than Timeless Twine in Raspberry Pink?!  I added some sequin from the Bella Creationz Clearly Beautiful set.  I love twine, and I love sequins!

My weekly planner

Hello everyone Isha here sharing a project which I really enjoyed creating, even thou it's not something I create usually. It's all because of this super sweet stamp "PlanNerd" So, I created a tag shaped weekly planner for myself. It's small and goes with me everywhere :)

This is kind of my usual weekly routine. My camera got some problem, so a couple of pictures are missing.

I love how the Timeless Twine matches with my paper and inks. I used the alphabets from the July kit and brushed some Sparkle shimmer in Frost by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko
The weekdays look like this, there are all kinds of cute n fun icons and also words to create what you want :)

Be sure to get your stamp set today and make sure to check out the beautiful colors of Twine and the June Embellishment kit
