Shoot for the Moon

Happy Hump-Day, Friends.  Karen N here from Craftily Yours!

This month, we are focusing of the fun and fabulous Timeless Twine in Cape Cod.  This fun twine has grey, yellow and white, and I was thinking stars and moons, so here's what I did!

I created the moon by punching a circle and then punching it again half-way through.  I glued twine down and trimmed the edges.  Those fun sequins are Bella Creationz, Silver Star Sequins.  On top of the glitter paper on top, I also colored the hanging stars and moons with my Wink of Stella pens.  Sparkles!

Hope you have a super sparkly Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!

Craftily yours,

Karen

Friendships are Sewn one Stitch at a Time

Good Monday morning, crafty friends! Julie here from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. I'm so excited for my first Timeless Twine post!  Yeah! I'm a Twine-ista! The theme this month is "something new". That "something new" can be a new technique, a new product from the store, or a new tool we use while making our project.  Well, I'll point out quite a few "new" things while showing you my project for today.

I used a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe I had never used before to make this sewing machine box.  Let me show you the other side of the box:

From this side, you can really see the Timeless Twine Baker's Twine in Raspberry Pink better.
Would you like to see what's inside the box?

More new twine!  There's some Cape Cod Timeless Twine and some gorgeous new Key Lime Sorbet Timeless Twine.  There's also a couple of spools of lace in the box from Webster's Pages. I made this box as a Christmas present for a friend who is a quilter and sewer.  I thought she'd appreciate some spools of lace, along with the ever-fun Timeless Twine.  I even made the spools that the twine and lace are on -- another new thing for me.
Here's the twine colors I used:

For more details about this sewing machine treat box, and to see what else I've been creating, please visit my blog.
I had a great time making this sewing machine box for my good friend and showing it to you.  And, I had a super time working with the wonderful, new Timeless Twine! I'm going to LOVE this next year!

Stitched Layout

Mandi, Kraze of MJ, is here today to share with you a layout that uses twine stitches. These photos are 20+ years old. I am glad that I was able to create this fab page with my favorite embellishment, TWINE.
I just got a stitch template and I have fallen in love on how I can create twine stitched shapes. I ended up figuring out if you lightly stamp an image on the project and go back with a paper piercer (or if you're like me a push pin will do). All you have to do is space the holes far enough apart so you don't tear the paper.
I used Lemonade Yellow and Aqua Blue for the sewn shapes. I Cape Cod Yellow for the wrap under the photos.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you try sewing on your next project. Than. you will see how addicting it is. Don't forget about our current challenge. You can find all the info here.

Elephantastic??

Hello Twine-tastic Friends!

Melissa here today with a fun and quirky card!

We've been playing with The Robin's Nest all month and it has been so fun! I love those Dew Drops.

The lovely and always popular Timeless Twine in "Cape Cod"

These papers are gorgeous from The Robin's Nest! I decided to challenge myself and make a card for a little boy since the papers screamed anything but! I colored the Dew Drops with a Copic to get the color I needed. I added some texture by sort-of dabbing the drop, if that makes sense.
I hope you've enjoyed seeing lots of projects this month that incorporate Timeless Twine and The Robin's Nest!

Have a twine-tastic day and thanks for stopping by!

Graduation....

Hello Everyone!!
Hope you all are enjoying the long weekend!!
Its a super busy time ....with all school closing and Graduations.
Today I'll share a Graduation gift card/money holder with you all....

Here is easy gift card holder... I don't have the Super AWESOME "CAMEO" yet so I made it manually.
Just cut the strips of cardstock and joined the ends to make a tube-like form , then glued the two diecut circles to make the top and the bottom of the box.
Finally added a square topper to make it look like a Grad hat.
Super easy!!!

I used CAPE COD twine to make the tassel...you can use any twine to match the school colors!!

Hope you like this little hat box!!!

*{Getting Past Pouty Monday}*

Mondays are never well received in our household by anyone. This hits our baby dog (who actually isn't a baby, seeing as how she's almost 6)  Nutmeg hardest it seems. She is a cling on dog and she demands constant contact. Everyone leaving her is not acceptable...being stuck with me is apparently, also unacceptable. The layout I created using Graphite Gray and Cape Cod clearly shows everyone what Meg thinks of Mondays. She literally pouts and the kids tease her and call her big baby dog. This is definitely something they will want to look back on and remember.

She's ridiculous, but we love her dearly.

I used Graphite Gray Cape Cod for the stitched circles:

Here's hoping your Tuesday is remarkably better than Pouty Monday!

♢♢ hello ♢♢

Hello Twine-Fanistas!

It's Amy T here with a Pennant Flap box project for you:

The box is a file from Silhouette, I used Stampin' Up Basic Gray cardstock.

It goes wonderfully with the Yellow and Gray Timeless Twine

To bring out the yellow, I die cut a hello speech bubble.

This makes for a perfect little giftie to stash some candy in for someone special.

Timeless Twine: Cape Cod. I made this card for one of my friends.
I just cut out this fun design from the Teresa Collins collection Memories and then wrapped the twine all around to make this fun design.
I also added a fun sentiment from Mama Elephant Hello stamp set and the embellishment is from the Epiphany Crafts tool.

with your Timeless Twine.

Yup, You Stole My HEART

Good Morning everyone.. Annette Allen here with you today to share a non traditional colored Valentine's Day card. I thought it would be fun to mix it up a little. I just love yellow and really it is my go to color. So I took Graphite Gray and Cape Cod and crochet a little mat for this sweet Raccoon from Some Odd Girl.
And really who doesn't love glitter hearts.

This was a fun card to make and I hope that you enjoyed it.
Head on over to the Bella Creationz online store to get your hands on these fun colors.
