Sweet Harvest Mason Jar

Hi everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs. For today's project I made a cute mason jar that's perfect for the "harvest" time of year. I used the "Autumn Splendor" twine around the lid, pretty papers from Simple Stories "Pumpkin Spice" paper pack and enamel dots.

The svg file can be found in the Silhouette store, design# 65656. The lid cover is meant to be used with fabric, but I decided to use paper instead...you will have to wet the paper until it becomes soft, so it can easily bend around the lid top, gently tie it, then let it dry. Fabric is much easier, but I really wanted to use the pattern from the paper.

Enjoy...

I put a tea light inside, but it can be filled with anything, something scented like pot pourri or something sweet t0 eat, like cookies!

Lighted Gazebo Party Decor

Hi everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs. For my project, I decided to make some party décor. I found this Gazebo file in the Silhouette store - design #79278, I chose colors that would fit perfectly with a summer theme, be it a pool or beach party, or whatever fun party your having.

I used some "Firecracker" twine and a "white doily" from Bella Creationz. I also added some blue brads and small white flowers. I haven't gone to a summer party yet that hasn't continued into the evening, which is why I thought it would be cute to add the little LED candle.

Enjoy...

Memorial Day BBQ - Tabletop Decor

Hi everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs. Today challenge is "Move it Monday", which means I had to make a project that moves. Well, that challenge helped inspire my idea for creating some "spinning" pinwheels.

Memorial Day weekend is perfect for cookouts and as always that's what we do here at home. I will be putting these on my tables for the BBQ.

I used the Key Lime Sorbet twine and the Happy stamp set from Bella Creationz. The pinwheels are from Cricut, the bottles I bought at Hobby Lobby and the sticks are from an old scent diffuser that had dried out.

I needed something to keep the sticks in place so for the inside I bought "Tropical Infusion" scented Sachets that I bought at AC Moore for a buck a piece. I can't even begin to explain how amazing it smells.

Enjoy...

You can cut 4 pinwheels out of a 12 x12 double
sided paper. Use 3 in each jar, I made a total of 8 jars,
so I needed 6 sheets of patterned paper.

Strawberry Cupcake Hot Air Balloon

Hi guys, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs, for todays project I decided to make this fun and bright hot air balloon. Today is Technique Tuesdays, so I will give a quick tutorial on how I added the "Strawberry Cupcake" twine to the hot air balloon.

I did purchase the svg kit "High Skies" from SVGCuts.com, on there you will find a YouTube video on how you can construct the hot air balloon.

There are some many creative ways you can use this file, for a child's room, party décor and so on, it really is a lot of fun to play with.

Enjoy...

Monogram Napkin Tags

Mandi, here with a very elegant way to dress up the Thanksgiving napkins. This way also let's people know where to sit.
I ended up using a wedding theme Cricut cartridge for the place card/ napkin ties. I love the monogram but I wanted it to pop so I used the Autumn Splendor twine and my favorite liquid glue (Glossy Accents) to trace the letter. I then just added a eyelet and tied it to the napkin with the Kraft Brown twine.
I left the backs plain so the person could write on the back of the tags of what they were thankful of that year.

Decorative Candle Wraps

Hello, Mandi here with a way to turn plain candles into a one of a kind home accent.
To create these I just used some scrap cardstock, doilies, charms, flowers and the thing that held them together is twine.

Twine Air Freshener

Mandi, here with a pretty homemade air freshener that is decorated with twine and washi tape.
I love to collect empty glass spice jars. I love that they can hold small things, make great vases and now air fresheners.  I added the grey twine around the top to hold the tulle and green twine pom-pom in place and I also glued it in between the tape.
You could fill it with potpourri or do like I did and fill it with baking soda and essential oil.
