Decorated Photo box

Debbie from Craftin' Chaos here. As you are reading this I am on a beach somewhere basting in the warmth of the sun! But i am still showcasing projects for this month. I made this crazy looking decoration. I had originally planned to make a kraft box to put it on and I think it would have made it stand out more but I just couldn't get it all done. I liked the aqua/black combo.

I made a button flair that mimicked the graph design on the aqua paper underneath it. I decided to just make it for a decorated up photo box. I used a pretty pink posh photo strip die for the area below it and even though you can't tell it that is silver foil paper behind it. I also used the silver foil on one of the sqiggly arrows. The angle I took the picture does not show it off but the button catches so much glare I had to leave it like this. I could take 100 pictures and still not be happy with them and I can not afford the time right now so I took the ones I thought looked good and kept them.

I layered this with lots of texture. The kraft paper is a more textured kraft that I normally use and then I cut some leaf shaped burlap. That stuff frays like crazy. I popped some curls of Timeless Twine Natural twine behind it to add to the texture. I might end up cutting those tails down on the black flags but for now it is done!

~Spreading Christmas Cheer~

Hello Everyone, Brianna here from Happy Scrapper! Can you believe that we only a week away before Christmas!? Luckily I have pretty much all my Christmas stuff done :) I have to get a couple more things on Thursday, but just little things. For this entire month the Twine-istas have been sharing gift giving projects with you, and of course today is no exception.
For my gift bag, I used one of the Small Brown Kraft Bags & Natural Bakers Twine.

I used my Silhouette to cut out my phrase that I purchased last year from the Silhouette Online store and then used the negative to put on my bag. I added some Christmas paper to the inside of my bag to stiff it up and add more color.
Have you had the chance to head on over to the Bella Creationz Store, Stacy has so many awesome items over there for gift giving and everyday use!!
Thank you all for stopping by and I will see you in the New Year :)
So excited I get to stay on this absolutely fantastical team!!!!

Snowman Soup

Hey Everyone!

It's Kristy here from Scraptastical Kreations and today I'm sharing with you all a fun and cute way to package up some snowman soup! I seen this idea on You Tube, so it's not my original idea, but I loved it so much I did a bunch of these for a craft fair I was in over the weekend.

For this I used the Chocolate Chip Twine and the Natural Twine

*{Gearing up to show some Love}*

Debbie from Bugjuiced here...

The anticipation of this day was just too much for me, I was so excited for this day to come. Its our Timeless Twine and Peachykeen Stamps event and today is my day and I am excited to share. This will be a long post to give you details of how I made the first card!

For my first card I did a metal tape embossing technique for my card. As soon as I selected this stamp set I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I went to the local hardware box store and found the metal tape in the heating section where the duct work is. I also purchased some mesh drywall tape too. I cut various gears on my cameo on various overlays with different patterns on them and cut them to fit different areas of my card.  Then I adhered my "X and O" on my paper base, then randomly put the mesh tape on the base too.

Then I cut various sized pieces of the metal and adhered it down in sections. As I did each piece I burnished them down and also went around the letters etc. After it was all complete I took a stylus and went around the letters, and all the overlays and mesh tape to emphasis the shapes even more. Then went around each individual piece of tape and placed pressure down creating a little dot pattern along the seams. After I was all done I went over the entire piece with Black acrylic paint and then wiped off with a paper towel. I added more paint when needed to create the effect I wanted. Then I also took my favorite Tim Holtz distress ink in vintage photo to create a little brown tint to only a portion of the card base. I added some more gears I cut out and some burlap for more texture. I used the svg's I got from Peachykeen to cut out my sweet little Robots. I did some paper piecing on the robots too. I love these little faces. This was truly a labor of love because this was a very time consuming card but I am happy with the way it turned out.

Items Used:

 Timeless Twines Graphite Gray Twine

PK-173 and then I used the SVG files PK-SVG-173

This card I decided to make a Thatch hut and used the stamp to make the sides. I just made a roof shape out of a piece of paper and used glossy accents to adhere to that shape. I did the same with her skirt but I mixed in some Kraft Brown & Chocolate Brown also with the Natural. I used the Natural twine on the guitar strings too. I have a small wooden button from the store on the card as well.

I used the Peachykeen Stamps PK-1254 Rock a Hula set
