Happy Birthday and red, white and blue

Hi Bev here today. I am having super fun with Firecracker timeless twine
from Bella Creationz this month.
It is perfect with the paper combo and also some more Bella Creationz sequins
and the Happy Days clears stamps for so many occasions.
Twine, sequins and stamps are great for so many creations and easy to use and
add as accents. On this card I stitched crosses in a row as accent and then
wrapped twine below the image to give it a base. I added sequins and stars scattered
for additional fun accents and more sparkle of colour.

Thanks for stopping by.. come again. Be sure to check
the store for may more fabulous fun accents and products.

We Salute YOU!

Karen N here from Craftily Yours.  This month, here at Timeless Twine / Bella Creationz, we are celebrating summer with Firecracker (Aqua and Red) Timeless Twine!  One of my favorite days of the summer is July 4, so I decided to focus on it and make this card for my son.  He is proudly serving in the U.S. Army, and I am super proud of him!

The paper is from my stash pile.  I stamped the image and dog-tags from a CTMH stamp set a dear friend sent me and colored up the background with my new Gelatos.  The star and red sequins are from Bella Creationz! They were in a previous kit, but there are lots of great options for pretty sequins in the store!

Craftily yours,

Karen

Crazy Congrats Bird

Karen N here from from Craftily Yours!  It's nearing graduation time in my town, and one of my friend's son is graduating high school.  I decided to make him this CAS card with the Tim Holtz Crazy bird.  I love the look on the bird's face, and imaging this must be how a newly minted adult might feel!

That gorgeous twine is Aqua Blue and Red (Firecracker) Timeless Twine, and I used some pretty Bella Creationz Sequins.  These sequins were part of a kit sold about a year ago, but there are oodles of fun sequins in the Bella Creationz Store.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Have you "liked" Timeless Twine on Facebook yet?  You should, so you stay up on all the lovely twine-tastic goodness....

Craftily yours,

Karen

Pocket Letter Newbie

Debbie here from Craftin' Chaos and I am sharing a brand new thing for me and that is pocket letters. I am super excited to start this and this is not the best but everyone is an amateur at first with anything they start. The whole pocket letter thing has blown up and I see the cutest pocket letters everywhere.

Its another part of scrapbooking but on a much smaller, less overwhelming procedure. Its a way to connect with people all over the world and basically you are to give little bits and pieces to them of your personality but yet of things that appeal to them. There are groups on facebook just for this, there is a whole network to sign up with people to swap pocket letters with.

Basically you pair up with someone that may have a similar taste as you and you share a little letter about yourself, each pocket houses things like stickers, twine, sequins, paperclips etc.

I am really into planners right now so my pocket letter "goodies" were centered around what a planner would love. The pages themselves or cards are something someone could re-use for a little "photo" themed pocket page or even to use on a layout or something.

I used "Oh Snap" stamp set from Bella Creationz and each pocket has various items that are found in the store also.

I used:
Bella Creationz & Timeless Twine
Lemonade twine
Raspberry Lemonade twine
Raspberry twine
Mixed Sequins
Heart Stickers
Tags
Flags
Hole Reinforcer
Oh Snap stamp set

Other:
Button Flair made by me
Printables were from Jessica Sprague

Photo Love Shaker

It's Julie today, from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers, with a bit of 'Move it Monday' for you. I have a card with a couple different types of movement on it.  This month, we're also featuring the "Oh Snap" stamp set by Bella Creationz.
Here's one view of my creation:
I found this camera shaker card file in the Silhouette Design Store.  I filled the shaker with Bella Creationz sequins to create movement.  I used the 'Oh Snap' same set to add the Photo Love sentiment to the front of the camera, then wrapped some Aqua Blue Timeless Twine around the camera lens and tied a bow.
Next, I made a pocket with my Silhouette, using this file.  I sized it to fit a Bella Creationz tag.  This tag will pull out of the pocket, creating more movement.
Here's a view of the tag, removed from the pocket.
I used more stamps from the 'Oh Snap' stamp set on the tag.  I also used more Timeless Twine on the ribbon.
You can find the tag, stamp set, sequins, and beautiful Aqua Blue twine in the Bella Creationz store.  It is temporarily closed, but will be opening again very shortly.

Bella Creationz with a super cute door knob accent or wall hanging

Hi my creative friends .. I took some time playing with timeless twine from Bella Creationz.
I wasn't sure about what the finished theme would be but love what it turned out to be.
My grand daughter would love to hang this from her bedroom door. "girls only" is the perfect sentiment and it's always a Happy Day when friends spend time together.

Starting with twine, some medium length sticks and Beacon 3-in-1 glue and your all set to create.
Glue the cross portion of the sticks and let harden.
Now tie a knot around the centre cross section.

Now the fun part. Working always to the right take the twine over the 1st post, around and down under and up ... head now to the next post.. over around down under and up.

Continue around and around until the 4 sides of posts are all full.

Now before you cut the twine tie a knot and do it again around the last post. Leave an estimated length to make the tie or loop for adhering to either a door knob or maybe you would like it to be a wall hanger which need twine to tie it up also.
Here is the finished background piece.

To decorate this piece I started with a fun Scrapbook Stamp Society digital image from Sherri Baldy which I copic coloured. Then using the Bella Creationz Stamp set stamped the Happy Day.Using the Kreaxions circle cutter I sized the image. I stamped and copic coloured the pennants.
Using a Bella Creationz doily as a background base I layered all the pieces together.
I added the Girls Only sentiment and the cute fun coloured sequins were the perfect finishing touch.

Supply List:
Bella Creationz Products: Timeless Twine
Doily:
Sequins:
Other: digital image Scrapbook Stamp Society with Sherri Baldy
Markers: Copic

On sale this month is the Sorbet Collection.... super fun  combos to work with.

Thanks for stopping by .. hope to see you again soon.

Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  It's Shaker Saturday, and I love shaker cards! I had a blast with this one!  The hardest part was deciding which one to make.  Since I also love canning jars, I combined two loves in one:
This shaker card is a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe.
Everything else is from Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz:
The sequins
2 colors of Sorbet Timeless Twine (I used Watermelon Sorbet and Key Lime Sorbet)
White Heart Sticker

Happy Days Stamp Set

I seriously LoVe this stamp set.  It can be used in so many different ways.  Versatile to the MAX!
Thanks for shaking up your Saturday with me!

Throwback Thursday with Timeless Twine!

Hello!  This is Cathy from Mimis Craft Corner and
I am very excited to share with
you today a card I created using

For Throwback Thursday, we ask that
you go back to your PAST craft projects and
remake them today with a few twists and turns.

Here is my Throwback from 2012

I LOVE black and white cards, but I also love this
layout.  It's a combination of patterned paper and
an insert at the bottom that I ran through
the Cuttlebug.  The two papers are separated
by a piece of ribbon.  I love this format and could
make this card over and over and it will never be the
same.  Here's my updated card for today:

I added paper from the First Edition Spring Drop paper pad.
I also used my all time fav punch of Martha Stewart to
separate the two layers.

I added some sequins and

The sequins are coming soon to

Keep in mind the Sorbet Collection is
on SALE all month!

Have a wonderful Spring day!

Sequin Shaker Saturday

Hi Bev here today with the a Sequin Shaker that is just too cute.... and easy to make.
along with Scrapbooking Stamp Society products to create my Sequin Shaker.

Supply List:
Plastic (shaped) cover left over from a purchase. Mine is the container to rolled foam.
There are many other options from toys and many other household purchases.
Paper for background - Paper House Nature PP-0036
Centre image, sticker or sentiment depending on theme of the shaker. Scrapbook Stamp Society/Sherri Baldy My-Besties 1" bottlecap Images
Ink: Tim Holtz ranger
Glue: Beacon 3-in-1
Other: flowers

Here is my plastic cover from rolled foam purchase.

Estimate the circular size of background base, make the paper slightly smaller
and estimate the image size. Precute them all.

Adhere the paper to background base. Ink all edges for depth.
The centre of my plastic is going to be glued down tight on image so
loosely place the sequins in the outer edge without going into outer band where
the plastic cover will be glued on top.

The glue for mine is on the outer white edge to keep the sequins in but also
added glue to outer white edge of image where it was flat and I didn't
want the image to be covered with sequins.
This will all be different if you use a full open plastic cover. (alter to suit your own person piece)

I used many rounds of twine which I glued on and tied a bow.

In the close up you can see things better and also note the fun floral accents used to finish it off.
Wouldn't this be cute hanging on a wall or from the door knob of a little girls room.

Thanks for visiting..  come again.... please.

To Die For Valentine

Karen N here from Craftily Yours with Timeless Twine / Bella Creationz first "To Die for Wednesday."  On "To Die For Wednesday," the creative crew members (like me!) create a project in the shape of a die.

Here's what I came up with!

My card is cut with Spellbinders Labels 39....as is the frame of the image.  I outlined the frame with the super lovely Timeless Twine in Strawberry Cupcake!  Those pretty sequinz are Raspberry Pink from Bella Creationz.  The sentiment is stamped with Bella Creationz Happy Days Clear Stamps.  So many fun combinations of sentiments can be made with this versatile stamp set!

Hope you have a super happy HuMp-DaY!

Craftily yours,

Karen
