just a smidge will do...

Hello!

It's Amy T here with a home decor project!

My crafting style has changed a couple times over the years but lately I've been of the Less is More theory and this project definitely falls into that category:

I'm a huge fan of Ikea and have several of these 5.5 x 5.5 display frames.  I backed it with cork and went to work.

Polaroid die cuts are so much fun, they make a great framing for any type of goodies.  I've loaded coffee themed flair that I received from my bloggie buddie, Sherry along with one from my stash by Joscie.

Just a smidge will do it:

That bit of Cherry Red Timeless Twine is just what the project needed...dontcha think?!

Whether your project is big or small, Timeless Twine is a FABulous addition to any of your projects!

Thankful for our memories!

Heyyie good morning!:D I am back again with more card inspiration! Hope you have enjoyed the Timelessly Odd blog hop!

For this card made specially for my dear friend, I decided to make use of the yummy twines to create a Do-It-Yourself bird cage by replacing the supposedly thin paper cuts resembling metal wires. I felt it was so much easier and so fun because you can mix and match the different colours of twines with your colour theme and scrapbooking products!

I also added more twines at the bottom for interest!

The twines that I used are :

                   strawberry cupcake                                              Lemonade Yellow

Any other creative ways you used twines in your projects? Share your project with us on Facebook! We would love to see them!! Or wanting to stock up on your supplies? Head over to our Bella Creationz!

Thanks for dropping by and have a twine-fastic day! Take care!

XOXO,

Timelessly Odd Hop

Welcome to your last stop on the
"Timelessly Odd" blog hop.

Aren't the ladies amazing?
They did such a fabulous job and the inspiration is phenomenal!

A lil' bio about the hop:

Some Odd Girl and Timeless Twine decided to get together for a little play date, and we are SO pleased you’ve joined us!  We hope you’ll find plenty of inspiration as you make your way around to all of the designers’ personal blogs, and be sure to leave a little love at each stop along the way, because there are THREE gorgeous spools of Timeless Twine and one $25 gift certificate to Some Odd Girl up for grabs!

Our hop, now being lovingly referred to as “The Timelessly Odd Hop”, runs now through Sunday, March 17th at midnight EST, so you have plenty of time to make your way around the circuit.  It’s a big hop, ‘cuz we have TONS of amazing designers who were absolutely excited to combine their love for all things cute, quirky, clever, and crafty, so take your time and ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY!

___________________________________________________________________

I created this card using two sets from the fabulous Odd Girl collection.

Who doesn't love opening a package of Timeless Twine?
I cut out the lil' pooch and replaced it with a spool of twine.  Cute huh?
The dress, bow and hair band are paper pieced.  I am not the best colorer, like some of the girls along the hop,  so I used Stampin' Up makers for the hair and packaging and Stampin' Up chalk for the skin.  For the sentiment, I sewed multiple colors of twine on the "HELLO" and cut it out. Both images are adhered with pop-up dots.

 Supplies:
Some Odd Girl Stamps:  Everyday Smiles (sentiment) and Puppy Love Mae
There is also a cute cut file for Puppy Love Mae here.

If you’ve just dropped by randomly and haven’t been hopping from the beginning, here’s how it’s all going down:

So there’s your hop list!  You don’t have to visit everyone in order, but you do have to visit EVERYONE if you want to win the goodies!  And that’s your cue, friends!  Our winners will be announced on Monday, March 18th.  Happy hopping, and GOOD LUCK!

REMEMBER!
You could win 3 spools of Timeless Twine and a $25 Some Odd Girl gift certificate just by stopping by each stop and leaving a sweet comment.

Have a Sham-rockin' Day

Hi Crafty Friends!

Melisa from Melisa's Crafty Creations here today with a cute St. Patrick's Day card to share with you.  Isn't it crazy to that we are already in March?  Where did the time go?  Anyways on to my card.  I love the way this card came out.  I used the Olive Green Twine on my card.  I love this green, it goes with everything.

For the card base I use the Layered Labels 1 from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  The sentiment shape is from the Sentiment spots 1 cutting file.  The cute little Shamrocks are from the Shamrock Faces cutting files.

For the faces I use the Cornies Face Assortment and the Snow Cuties Face Assortment from Peachy Keen.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's I Believe in Leprechauns stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.

Call Me Maybe??

Hello People! Debbie with Bugjuiced in the house....
I mean the Blog!
I am showing my goofy side again. I love humor and if you know me you definitely know that. I like to laugh, I like to make people laugh and my crafting is definitely on the funny side.

I don't take alot too seriously I guess so that I can stay sane and happy. There is so much in life that can make us unhappy that I choose not to let that happen and I laugh alot every day. It helps to have a funny husband as well. I have video and pictures to prove that. Sometimes we will be in a store and the music is playing and I tell Bob I say "Break it down" and he will start dancing. He knows I am videoing him with my phone and when I need a laugh I have those videos to give me one.

I have some on my phone that even though I have watched them a ton I still laugh at them.

Ok enough of that nonsense right! Get to the crafting part...

I made this crazy looking lady in Silhouette Studio DE. I am loving making files. Mostly what I have made so far is card bases but I challenged myself to do something else. I am so sure there is easier and better ways to achieve it but I am still happy with the results. Yes its not perfect....do I care heck no!

I wanted her to have crazy eyes and glasses (maybe she is someone I know.....hmmmmmm I wear glasses.....but my hair is NOT like this) But I do not like to be on the telephone so I can relate to her.

I think because I have to talk so much with clients all day long that when I am at home I avoid the telephone like the plague. And besides its usually some stupid collection agency looking for someone named Adam who doesn't live with us....I DO not know him and I am not just fibbing with them. Seriously when you tell them they got the wrong number they always say "So you don't know Adam" ha ha ha so that is what you got out of me saying "You got the wrong number" why I believe you must have graduated from MIT you moron! OH Adam....I thought you said Fred....so you do know Adam? Adam who is Adam...you said you wanted to talk with Fred....ok I am done messing with you....GOODBYE...I mean it gets tiresome messing with them day in and day out when they are desperately seeking Adam.

Now see I got side tracked again! I used Timeless Twine "Tuxedo Black" for the telephone cord. And then some "Cherry Red" for a bow.
I used for the sentiment and the border a stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop "Lets Chat".

Get Well Basket

Hi there!
This is Ana Maria from Shorty Creations
It seems like everybody's getting sick around here. So I thought I would throw together a few get well baskets. I'll go ahead and fill them with some tea, tissue, and cough drops. I just love the way the purple passion twine accents the design.
Hope y'all are able to stay away from the germs!

Birthday Topper

Hi everyone. Mandi here with a quick topper for a gift bag or present.I just dressed up a plain kraft gift bag with a big statement piece.
For the streamers I added  Pumpkin Orange and Graphite Gray twine with crepe paper, ribbon and tulle.

I cut out " happy birthday" out with my electronic die cutting machine and filled in the negative space with Aqua Blue and Purple Passion twine. I love how this came out
Don't forget to mark your calendars for the fun hop on the 8th. We will be teaming up with Some Odd Girl.

Have a great twine filled day.

Hello Friend

Mark your calendars..
Timeless Twine and Some Odd Girl have an awesome blog hop planned for you on March 8th.
Hello Twine Friends.
Annette Allen here with you today to share a fun card using my Silhouette Cameo and filling the open space with some awesome Timeless Twine
On this card I used: Timeless Twine Lemonade Yellow
I adhered the Timeless Twine with Martha Stewart all purpose gel adhesive to the base of the card. The cut part of the card I actually added pop dots so there was room between the base of the card and the design paper.
Timeless Twine: Lemonade Yellow

 Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a twintastic day.
