Insta-Love in 3D

Karen N here from from Craftily Yours!  Today, I was challenged to do something 3D.  My first insta-love is in making cards, but I accepted the challenge, and here's what the gift card box I made:

That gorgeous twine is Natural White Timeless Twine, and I used some pretty Bella Creationz White Frost Sequins (coming soon).  I love the little extra sparkle sequins add to my project.  I used paper from one of my favorite lines, Basic Great Kioshi.  The stamps are from Bella Creationz (Oh Snap Set).

The little happy face inside the box (that holds the gift card) made me grin.  :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Have you "liked" Timeless Twine on Facebook yet?  You should, so you stay up on all the lovely twine-tastic goodness....

Craftily yours,

Karen

Happy Hump Day!!

Hey there crafty friends, it's Jenni from Wish I Was Scrappin again with another fun project using Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine!!

With Graduation in full swing everywhere, my fair share of announcements have arrived at my home as well!  I created this cute money holder to send to a fine young man graduating High School.

I found this little lovely on Pinterest.  This is my second one of these, and I still need one more for this year's class!

I used Navy blue and forest green bazzil cardstock, along with some white scraps.  The owl is punched using the owl punch from Stampin Up.  I used the "Oh Snap" stamp set, sparkly clear sequins and natural white twine.  Loving how it turned out and masculine enough to give to a young man!

Oh Snap! A Tutorial

Greetings, fellow twine lovers!  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  Today is "Technique Tuesday". I'm showing off what I call "the lazy crafter's guide to pom-poms".  All you need is a couple fingers.  Let me explain!
First, the finished project:
Below, is a photo box.  It holds 4-6 pictures.
Like that little pom?  Here's how I did it...
Wrap the Timeless Twine around 2 fingers.  I used Lemonade Yellow on this pom-pom. (sorry it's blurry.  I had to take the pic with my SLR and 1 hand)
Next, take a piece of twine and fit it between your 2 fingers.  This will be used to tie off your pom.  I leave it a bit longer than I think I'll need, just in case.
Work your fingers loose, then tie your knot securely.
Cut the loops apart.
Then, all that's left is to trim everything to a similar length and give it a bit of a fluff.

Next time you need that little extra embellishment for a project, give this a try. You'll love how fast it is!

Plan Nerd Sunday!

Hello, this is Cathy from
Mimi's Craft Corner and it's my
turn to share ideas for

My confession on this Sunday is
that I don't always stamp in my
planner weekly!
I know - SHOCK!

What I do is have these little
post it notes ready when I don't have time!
I've shared these before, but wanted to
give you some ideas on how to use them.

I keep a pad of these notes with me at all time
and when I think of something that is needed on my list
I just write it out and add it to
my ECLP.

For the weekends, my To Do are
usually of a shopping nature and
it's time for that Honey Do List!
The stamps came from Plan Nerd Stamp Set

Let's not forget all those times your
heart aches for someone and what they
are going through.  You want to add them
to your prayer list, but are afraid you will
forget before you get home.  I have a
pad of these ready also!

I can't tell you how many times these
little guys have saved me!

Now before I leave you today, I wanted to give you a
quick idea for all of you insta photo gals.

I found these on clearance at Hobby Lobby.
Perfect size for 3x3 notes ( my absolute all
time fav size note to create!! ) but look how much fun they
are with photos.

It's an instant background of color, in
the perfect size!  These will fit lovely in your
ECLP or your Midori Travel Planner.

Create beautiful photo displays in seconds
and add that special touch with
Bella Creationz Stamp set
OH SNAP!

Happy Sunday!

Pocket Letter Newbie

Debbie here from Craftin' Chaos and I am sharing a brand new thing for me and that is pocket letters. I am super excited to start this and this is not the best but everyone is an amateur at first with anything they start. The whole pocket letter thing has blown up and I see the cutest pocket letters everywhere.

Its another part of scrapbooking but on a much smaller, less overwhelming procedure. Its a way to connect with people all over the world and basically you are to give little bits and pieces to them of your personality but yet of things that appeal to them. There are groups on facebook just for this, there is a whole network to sign up with people to swap pocket letters with.

Basically you pair up with someone that may have a similar taste as you and you share a little letter about yourself, each pocket houses things like stickers, twine, sequins, paperclips etc.

I am really into planners right now so my pocket letter "goodies" were centered around what a planner would love. The pages themselves or cards are something someone could re-use for a little "photo" themed pocket page or even to use on a layout or something.

I used "Oh Snap" stamp set from Bella Creationz and each pocket has various items that are found in the store also.

I used:
Bella Creationz & Timeless Twine
Lemonade twine
Raspberry Lemonade twine
Raspberry twine
Mixed Sequins
Heart Stickers
Tags
Flags
Hole Reinforcer
Oh Snap stamp set

Printables were from Jessica Sprague

Throw Back Thursday at Bella Creationz today

Hi Bev here today. Welcome to Throw back Thursday on Bella Creationz Timeless Twine.
I am sharing a double page layout that when I created it OMG years ago
I didn't use doily's, stamps, twine or sequins,
So much back then was about stickers, rubons and chipboard accents.

Below is the details of my changes and makeover to my page.

Clusters look awesome with a touch of sequins. I also stamped in 2 spots with fun green ink.

Another section with a cluster with more sequins.

I added Timeless Twine wrapped around and tied a knot.

This section shows a touch more wrapped twine with a metal key added.
Then below the chipboard accent I added a doily.

Here is my full revised double page with lots of Bella Creationz products.
Super fun to see it redone using so many more amazing products available from today.

Thanks for stopping by.. and be sure to check the store
out for all the amazing products available.
