Sweet Harvest Mason Jar

Hi everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs. For today's project I made a cute mason jar that's perfect for the "harvest" time of year. I used the "Autumn Splendor" twine around the lid, pretty papers from Simple Stories "Pumpkin Spice" paper pack and enamel dots.

The svg file can be found in the Silhouette store, design# 65656. The lid cover is meant to be used with fabric, but I decided to use paper instead...you will have to wet the paper until it becomes soft, so it can easily bend around the lid top, gently tie it, then let it dry. Fabric is much easier, but I really wanted to use the pattern from the paper.

Enjoy...

I put a tea light inside, but it can be filled with anything, something scented like pot pourri or something sweet t0 eat, like cookies!

Twine Gift Box!

Hi everyone! Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! Tara here with a little inspiration on pretty packaging for your Mother's Day gift! Gifts are great and are even better when they look pretty on the outside! I took a simple kraft box and loaded it up with goodies from the Bella Creationz store and created a gift box that any mom would love to receive!

After wrapping the box in card stock and a pretty border, I wrapped the center in bright pink and green Timeless Twine. I gave it a pretty Spring arrangement of shiny flowers, leaves and a bright butterfly along with a stamped tag and a big twine bow!

A must for any mom, a big flower! This one was die cut from the same card stock and from one of the glassine envelopes available in the shop. I spritzed all of he pieces with water, crumpled them up and let them dry. Once dried and unfolded, they have a great wrinkled texture and look gorgeous when stacked together!

Thanks for visiting today!

Monster Mash and all that jazz

Debbie here with Bugjuiced. Well....long time no talkie! I have been so busy with so many things that I have neglected my crafting. I also have been sick for weeks with a nasty sinus infection that still hasn't gone away completely but life goes on.

We moved a few months ago and have been remodeling our little old house and so as I am writing this my craft room is being ripped out from underneath me. We are getting new flooring Friday so I get some new floors in my craft room, kitchen and dining room so I am super excited. Then my hubs is taking me on a much needed Ikea trip to buy me an expedit workstation unit and another desk to make my room look better.

Today is my day on Timeless Twine and I used all my stamps (Pink Hippo) for the images on my card just to show my stamps. This card is humongo because my images are not small. I hate to buy stamps that the images are so small you can't paper piece easy or color. Now that being said I do not have copics or any kind of markers I only have watercolor pencils and I am NOT at all someone who enjoys coloring images so that is my disclaimer. I know alot of you would have done an awesome job....me...ah it is what it is.

I used the Olive Green and Purple Passion twine to wrap down the creases of the card. I cut out just a little jagged flag for my sentiment (also my stamp)

Stop by the store Stacy got some really cute new items to make some awesome treat bags, containers etc. Check out the cute little ice cream treat cups. This would make an awesome gift if you put some candy in a treat bag and then put it in the ice cream treat cup or candy in the cup and a bag to cover it all with some great colored twine to tie it together! WOW so many possibilities!

Box For Dad

Mandi from The Kraze of MJ is here.Hope everyone is taking time out today to spend time with their dad's. Today, I am going to share with you a box I made for a gift for my dad.
All the papers and diamond dew drops are from this month's partner, The Robin's Nest. I created a belt that wraps around the box and adhere everything to it. The twine swirls are attached to box. To do the wording and swirls wit the twine I used glossy accents to make them.
The twines I used are Natural and Kraft Brown twines. These are so perfect to a guy's project.
