Welcome Baby

Hello Everyone, Isha here today sharing my shaped card with you all. I made a Welcome Baby card. This is a Silhouette file, I really like it. I used some of my pattern papers, which I was hoarding for some time as they are double sided pretty baby patterns :) Love how our twine color match perfectly with these pattern papers and really gives a wonderful effect to the otherwise CAS card. Beautiful color combo....don't you think?

This sure was FUN!
You can click on the photos if you want to go and check the twine!!

I wrote the sentiment on the inside of the card. Have a nice and Happy Easter!!!

Sweet Birthday Wishes!

Happy Friday!!!

Hey Everyone, it's Ruthie from September Ninth Designs. This month, on the TT blog, all the Twine-ista's are sharing projects with a "something new" theme. That "something new"can be a new technique, new color of twine, new product from the store, or a new tool that we use while making our project.

I thought I would try making a card that has a "monochromatic" color scheme. A monochromatic color scheme is when one color used in various values and intensities (darks and lights). I chose to use the color purple. I found 4 shades that I thought worked well together.

I made this card for my sweet little Emily's, 2nd birthday. She is obsessed with Princess Sofia, so when I found this Sofie svg at LSHD, I knew that it would be perfect for her birthday card.

I cut Sofie at 3 1/2" tall. The finished size of the card is 4" x 5".

I used the Timeless Twine's Purple Passion twine. You can find it, a ton of other colors, and lots of fun packaging in the Bella Creationz store.

Toil & Trouble Bag

Mandi here with a cute Halloween bag that is perfect for a kid to hold their candy.
I just took a plain gift bag and decorated with scraps and twine.
To create the pom-pom I wrapped twine around 50 times two fingers. Tie center, snip ends and trim to size. To jazz up a flat sticker I outlined it in twine.
I just couldn't resist adding some twine to the handle.
Here are the twines I used: black kraft, pumpkin orange and purple passion.

Monster Mash and all that jazz

Debbie here with Bugjuiced. Well....long time no talkie! I have been so busy with so many things that I have neglected my crafting. I also have been sick for weeks with a nasty sinus infection that still hasn't gone away completely but life goes on.

We moved a few months ago and have been remodeling our little old house and so as I am writing this my craft room is being ripped out from underneath me. We are getting new flooring Friday so I get some new floors in my craft room, kitchen and dining room so I am super excited. Then my hubs is taking me on a much needed Ikea trip to buy me an expedit workstation unit and another desk to make my room look better.

Today is my day on Timeless Twine and I used all my stamps (Pink Hippo) for the images on my card just to show my stamps. This card is humongo because my images are not small. I hate to buy stamps that the images are so small you can't paper piece easy or color. Now that being said I do not have copics or any kind of markers I only have watercolor pencils and I am NOT at all someone who enjoys coloring images so that is my disclaimer. I know alot of you would have done an awesome job....me...ah it is what it is.

I used the Olive Green and Purple Passion twine to wrap down the creases of the card. I cut out just a little jagged flag for my sentiment (also my stamp)

Stop by the store Stacy got some really cute new items to make some awesome treat bags, containers etc. Check out the cute little ice cream treat cups. This would make an awesome gift if you put some candy in a treat bag and then put it in the ice cream treat cup or candy in the cup and a bag to cover it all with some great colored twine to tie it together! WOW so many possibilities!

A Twiney Thank You

Hello Twineaholics!
It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and today is my last day to share as a member of the design team :(

Thank You to Stacy for being so sweet and generous, Thank You to the rest of the designers for your friendships and support, and Thank You to all you Twineaholics for all the sweet comments!
For my last project, I wanted to make to make a "Thank You" card.
I love all the bright colors and the possibilities to create with twine are endless!

Supplies:
Recollections "Jolly Holiday" stack patterned paper
"Reverse Wonky" Spellbinders
PBD "Giant Greetings" sentiment
quick dry paper glue
button
and lots and lots of Timeless Twine!

For the sentiment, I first stamped it in a light color, then I cut small pieces of twine and used a quick dry paper to ahere the small pieces.  I find that quick dry glue is a necessity when creating with twine!
Thanks again for all the Twinetastic fun in 2012!

Butterfly Fun!

Good Morning Twineaholics...Annette here with you from My Clever Creations sharing from our new Timeless Twine Purple Passion. I wanted to make a butterfly and decided to use a Hero Art die cut. I first glued down my twine and then die cut the butterfly using my Tim Holtz Vagabond. It cut like butter, I was really happy with how awesome the twine cut. This process was so easy. I hope you will give it a try and share your projects with us on Facebook.
Recipe: Timeless Twine Purple Passion, Deasy Designs Little Rossie, Copic Sketch Markers, Hero Arts Butterfly Die cut, Stampendous sentiment, Love My Tapes washi tape, Echo Park designer paper, Neenah white card-stock, Scotch advanced tape glider and American Crafts foam adhesives.
