Photo Bomb Mini Album

Hi everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs. Today's project is a mini album that I made for beautiful photos that my husband took of all 4 of my boys at a park, it was a Mother's Day gift to me. It's always hard to get all 4 boys together, with one living in Jersey and the other always working, it's not easy. Luckily the twins are only 15 and are still living at home.

I bought this mini album svg file from the Silhouette store- design #67735, it's 3x4 and comes with all of the tag embellishments. I used the Bella Creationz stamp set "Oh Snap", which is so perfect for this album, I pretty much used every stamp in this set. I also embellished a lot of the elements with several colors of Timeless Twine.

There's lots of space for photos and journaling... I just have to print photos and add the journaling!!! I must say, having photos of all 4 boys together was one of the best Mother's Day gift ever!!!

Enjoy...

Loves Live Here -- Again!

Happy Thursday, everyone -- almost the weekend!  It's Julie today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersIt's time for Throwback Thursday.
I switched computers not too long ago, and not all my pictures from previous cards made it on to the new computer, so I looked through old cards until I found what I was looking for.
Here's the remake of the card:
Here's the original:
The stamp is from Unity Stamp Company. The new version of the card was colored with Prismacolor pencils. I made the background paper using a cloud embossing folder, a resist technique, and spray inks.

Metallic Graphic Gray Sequins -- coming soon

I want to invite you back to Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers blog  March 20-22 for "Julie's Blogoversary Blog Hop."  I've gathered my friends for the 3rd edition of this event.  They'll be lots of inspiration and even more prizes -- including a $20 gift certificate to the Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz store, donated by Stacy. (Thank you Stacy!)
Throwback Thursday = fun!

Lucky It's Fun Friday!

Hi Everybody!
Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, and welcome to Fun Friday!  Today I get to share a project that hopefully will inspire you to try something fun, and different :)  This time I tried combining some burlap with twine!  Here's how it turned out:

*I found this fun tutorial on how to make a Shamrock bow (check that out HERE), and decided that it would look awesome matched up with some Timeless Twine!

*The Solid Orange Twine really pops against the green shamrocks!

*The Olive Green Twine was perfect to embellish the center of the shamrock.
*I used the Metallic Gold Sticker Sheets to cut out the work Lucky.  How perfect is that gold for St. Patty's day??!!!

Love You, Friend.

It's Wednesday, and this is Julie from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. Today is "To Die for Wednesday." The goal is to use a die cut somewhere on the project.  I used 5, for good measure!
The image and sentiment are a stamp set from Unity Stamp Co.  I colored the image with colored pencils -- something new for me. Once that was done, the die cutting began.  I cut out the image with a Spellbinders label die, then placed it on another Spellbinder die.  The feathers and ribbon slide are also Spellbinders dies. Papers are all from Close To My Heart. The image was printed on Canson Mi Tiente paper.
I used Timeless Twine in Olive Green to wrap around the feathers and through the ribbon slide, along with some crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM.

What's Up, Doc?

Hi Everybody!
Jenny from Crazy About Cricut!  Welcome to 3D Thursday, where we get to highlight this fabulous twine on a project that isn't flat.  How fun is that??!!  Well, I was cruising Pinterest, and came across this cool idea for winding twine on a project from this blog HERE.  I decided to try this idea on a little smaller scale.  Here's how it turned out:

*I started out by taking some packing paper, and shaping it into a cone.
*I put a strip of the adhesive down one side to help hold the twine in place.  I didn't put it all over, because although it dries clear I didn't want any shiny, dry glue showing.
*Then I just wrapped the twine around.

*When it was time to do the carrot stem, I started by wrapping a piece of the double sided tape around the top.
*Next, I wove the Olive Green twine up and down.  To finish it off, I wrapped more Olive Green around and covered up the bottom weaved part.
*After trimming a bit of the top off, the stem was done!

Here is the final product.........
*I love how the Solid Orange twine looks, and added a carrot using the Pumpkin Orange twine for a bit of pop.
*What's Up, Doc??  That bunny is ready to nibble on those delicious lookin' carrots, lol!

*Aren't those the cutest carrots ever??  I like how they're a little bumpy, and look more like real carrots.  It did take a couple of hours to do all 3, but I just sat with some music on, and it was pretty relaxing just sitting and winding twine :)
*I think these will make some fun Easter home decor!
