Today I'd like to share a 3D Chinese paper lantern that I made for the upcoming Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year will begin on January 23rd, and 2012 is the Black Water Dragon year.

Today I'd like to share a 3D Chinese paper lantern that I made for the upcoming Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year will begin on January 23rd, and 2012 is the Black Water Dragon year.
Supplies:
3D Chinese Lanterns from Cricut Craft Room (cut-outs hidden)
Dragon and character (strength) cut using Pagoda cartridge
Black Coffee and White Timeless Twine

What a pretty lantern love love the design, color palette and yes that black and white twine makes it pop! I just love the richness of the black in this twine!
