Mickey Mouse Autograph books...

Hi friends... Happy Sunday!!! Scrappin Madge here and I am excited to share with you my project for Timeless Twine! This month the Twine-sistas are making items that are Spring themed!! And I have to say I love spring because Spring means National Cheer Competition at our home and we go to DISNEYLAND!!! So spring into this year with the Happiest Place on earth Disneyland!
Me my sister and Scrappin Midge decided to make some fun signature books for our kids and some other friends.  We found several ideas on Pinterest, and took from several of them to make this cute book! Gotta love Pinterest right! The one that we saw that we were most inspired by was  this one {HERE} so Thank you to Jen from Craft-o-maniac

We added bows for the girls and pants and buttons for the boys.  Total we made 16 of these cute little guys, however we had given them to all of their owners before I was able to get pictures of all of them! However I do have pics of three! Check them out here.....

I hope that the kids get lots of autographs! There are 8 white card stock Mickey mouse ears in each book so 16 autograph pages, two black card stock Mickey mouse ears for the front and back covers.  For the Mini Mouse bows we used different colors of card stock, and white card stock for the gloves, a sticker for the initial of the owner. For the Mickey Mouse (boys) we used red and yellow card stock and two white buttons. Also white card stock for a smaller hand on the ear.  Again using a sticker initial of the owner.  I used the Disney cartridge and cut out these on the cricut.

I used three different colors of twine.

Happy Pi Day!

Happy Friday!!!

It's Ruthie again! Today is Pi Day , which is an annual celebration commemorating the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14 (or 3/14 in the U.S. month/day date format), since 3, 1, and 4 are the three most significant digits of π in the decimal form.

So... I made a card to commemorate the day. I went with cherry pie since that's my favorite and I added the Pi symbol, to the crust, for fun.  I also used the beautiful Firecracker twine. I love the combination of the aqua, white, and red together, very vintage.
2-2

Belong Together Tag!

Hello Everyone!!! Isha here today, sharing the candy box with a tag. Here we already have started with Spring unless the weather takes a big turn. Everyone is in the garden working and all the new shoots coming up. There are flowers everywhere and also Jelly beans for the kids.
I love this transparent box by Bella Creationz. Perfect size and shape. I made a tag to go with it and loved how 3 of the Twine colors just make it pop out. Really pretty colors. Don't you think? I love to tie this kind of loop with a bow too.

Here is the closeup to see the loop with the bow!

I used these Timeless Twine  on my project.

Happy Crafting!!!

Felt obsession

Debbie here from Craftin Chaos and I am currently in a Felt plushie obsession and was working on a cat and wanted to share my process. The Simply White Timeless Twine is the perfect weight to go through the felt and trim out my projects. I am alittle obsessed with it right now and using it on my felt projects.

Its nice to see other ways you can utilize your twine than the typical paper project so I hope you get some inspiration from it and try some yourself. There are alot of free patterns to be found to make some of the different projects.

I sometimes see things I like and also modify them to my liking. Felt squares are super cheap at the craft store and I even bought mine by the yard since I have used so much of it.

I used the blanket stitch all around the cats head. There area lot of tutorials on youtube for teaching you the various stitches you can use on the projects.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet as Spring

Hey Everyone!

It's twine-ista Kristy here today sharing a sweet spring layout with all of you. This month's theme is "spring", so I decided to take that opportunity and create a fun "girly" type layout. I don't get to scrap girly stuff much, so I grabbed this photo of my dad and my niece and went for it!

For this layout, I used the Lemonade Yellow to create the rays of sun. Then I cut out some pieces of patterned paper to put on the inside of the rays. Added some watercolors, a few embellishments and a title, and bam... a super simple layout! I really love the twine sun rays. I think they really add a great look to this layout, but I do wish I would have added one more ray on each side. Sometimes, though, you don't realize how something really looks until you take a photo of it and look at it from a different perspective. Ahh well... I still love this layout either way.

Think Green!

Happy Monday, my crafty friends! Julie here today with some Irish inspiration for you.
Today, I'm thinking St. Patrick's Day, and an easy treat box you can whip up quick.  Now that, you gotta LOVE!

This is the "Lucky In Love" treat box from My Scrap Chick. I used My Mind's Eye Lime Twist 12x12 paper to cut it out on my Silhouette, making it just a little larger than the original. Then, I filled a Bella's Creationz Clear Mini Favor Bag with some sweet treats, printed the sentiment that came with the treat box, stapled the box closed with my trusty Tim Holtz Tiny Fastener, and tied some Pumpkin Orange Timeless Twine around the the scalloped flap.  And, of course, it need a big bow, just because.
Here's a close up of the sentiment and lucky clover, because I have been lucky in love!

I've got one more view of the box to show you, so you can see how pretty it looks inside, too:

Cute, yes?
This went together very quickly.  I plan to make a few, fill them with goodies, and give them to my friends at the nursing home on St. Patrick's Day.  Then, they'll feel lucky, too.

Spring Flower Jar!

Hello there and Happy Saturday to you. It's Tara with my Spring creation! I love that Spring means flowers starting to bloom and I love it even more when I can bring those fresh flowers into my home! Since I don't quite have any blooms yet here in Colorado, I created a card instead.

These lovely blooms fill a mason jar that has been tied off with the beautiful Raspberry Lemonade Timeless Twine. All of the happy papers are left from the fabulous week with Lawn Fawn and are perfect for  Spring card! The shiny butterfly is from the Bella Creationz mixed sequins and is the perfect finishing touch for this flower jar.

Thanks for looking!

Next Up, Twine-ista Stacy

I hope everyone had a wonderful week of look through all the wonderful inspiration the Twine-istas and Lawn Fawn girls created.  I want to send a great BIG  THANK YOU to Lawn Fawn for joining us this week.  It was fun, creative, and inspiring.  They are a wonderful company and the owner, Kelly is super sweet.

Ok...I made some cute lil' cards that are perfect to write a sweet lil' note to that special someone in your life or to add to your kids lunch box to give them some positive words in the middle of their busy day at school.

I looooove the card stock, Let's Polka, from LF.  It is the perfect thickness and the colors are, WOW!  I tied a teeny tiny bow with Simply White Timeless Twine to the hello to give it that extra touch of cuteness.

This is my first attempt at making a shaker card.  I think it turned out great.  I can not get enough of the "hello" die.  I used the large stitched journal card die to make the card.  Just fold a piece of card stock in half and run it through your machine.  Just make sure the one folded edge is not on the cutting edge of the die.

Timeless Twine - Simply White
Dies- Lawn Fawn Scripty Hello and Large Stitch Journaling Card (speech bubble)
Fun-Fetti Sequin Mix- Bella Creationz (coming soon)

Again, thank you for joining us for a fun-tabulous week!
