Christmas Treat bag

Hello everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs. For todays project I made this cute little Christmas treat bag. I plan on making several of these using different pattern papers, I thought it would be fun to hand out to my little nieces and nephews along with their Christmas gifts.

I used the "Cherry Red" Timeless Twine and the "Holiday Sentiments" stamp set from Bella Creationz. The "Christmas Tree Bag" is from the Silhouette store -design # 50964. I used some liquid pearls for the star and some red glittery dots. This project is super easy and super fun, which is great when making more than one.

Enjoy...

Today I'm sharing with all of you a super cute way for you to share some mints or candy with everyone during the holiday season. You can even use this for other holiday's or everyday uses through out the year. And, the twine adds the perfect touch to it!

For this I used the Olive Green Twine and Cherry Red twine. Both of these are perfect for the Christmas season.

Christmas Bag with Tassel

Hello everyone. Mandi here with my last post as a design team member of this fabulous company. I would like to thank Stacy, Debbie and my twine sisters for the amazing, fast year.
Now, onto today's project. A Christmas gift bag with a sequins filled tag.
I use the kraft brown twine to outline the pattern paper on the bag. I also added a small triple loop bow to the center of a snowflake sequin.
To create the tassel I wrapped the cherry red twine around four fingers 25 times. Thread twine through the center and knotted. I then took the natural twine and starting wrapping about a 1/4 inch away from the top. After everything was tied I cut the bottom loops.
To find out how I created the tag hop to my blog to see the steps. Also be sure to follow me to see my latest twine creations.
Twines I used.

★{Peppermint Sticks & Sparkling Spun Sugar}★

When I was little, my Auntie Catherine and Uncle Jim gave me one of the best gifts I ever received...The Nutcracker Suite album. Not only was it The Nutcracker Suite, it was a dual fold album with a centerfold of magical enchantment. I was instantly transported. I also received a Nutcracker book from Auntie Catherine and Uncle Jim, the year was 1981. This book is one of my very favorites because of the illustrations.

The funny thing is....I don't know that Auntie understands the impact this gift has had...each year much to my parents simultaneous delight and dismay...I performed the entire Nutcracker Suite in front of our fireplace hearth. I danced my wee heart out from the start of the overture to the final waltz. My Mom clapped with gusto in all the right places and my Dad doing his best to stay awake, they were amazingly wonderful parents. ❤

I was listening to The Nutcracker Suite today as I do every year, my creations today are a reflection of that.

Here's a close up of some of the details:

I used Cherry Red and Natural White - these and other groovy things can be found over at Bella Creationz!

Have a sweet Tuesday friends. Enjoy the magic of the season.

Gift Card Holders

Mandi, here with a cute way to give gift cards. I can't believe it is that time of the year all ready and to help you with the gift wrapping all month long the twine-istas are going to share with you fun and creative ways to jazz up packages.
Both of my holders are made out of felt, decorated with twine and odds & ends.
The first one I and going to share with you is a little time consuming since I did the blanket stitch by hand. I created a little bag with felt and decorated until my heart was content. I covered the entire back of the doily with adhesive before I stuck it on. Then I add some glitter  and brush of the excess that didn't stick in the doily holes. For the closure I used brads and wrapped twine around them.
For a faster and just as cute holder I wrapped felt around the card and tied it with cherry red twine. I add a couple bells as an added cute factor.
Hope this help you with those pesky gift cards that we all don't want to give in a plain envelope.
Items I used Natural, Cherry Red, Olive Green twines and a doily.
