Summer Fun

Summer lovin'.....  just kidding.
I don't like summer.  I hate the heat and would take winter and snow year round if it were possible.

But, I digress.

Amber here from Best Stamped Intentions with some fun, summer-y inspiration for you!!

One fun thing about summer is all of the water games that my little girl gets to play.  We recently went to a "Family Celebration" of my best friend who's husband adopted her 2 boys.  What an amazing experience for them.

So what do we do to celebrate?  We party.  And by party, I mean make a giant slip and slide down a hill at the park by their house. :)

Full spread.

My very first Fused pocket!  I need some practice...my top line isn't very straight.  I also double stamped the "hello summer" which is new for me.  Black on bottom, and yellow on top.

This twine frame was fun to make and turned out SUPER cute!  I will be doing this on more layouts. :)

I used Raspberry Lemonade twine to make it.  Adds a lot of dimension on a pretty flat project!  I also used the Hello Summer stamps, which are on sale for $7.50 right now!!  Inside of the Fused pockets, I added Bella Creationz sequins, and some random fine glitter I had laying around my craft room.

This will be my last post before we move into our new house!  I'm stoked to get my new scrapbook area up and ready to use. :)

xoxo, Amber

Pockets for my Planner

Sequins Saturday!!!
Debbie here from Craftin' Chaos and today I did a little "Pocket letter" style dohicky for my planner. I just took the ATC card protector sheets and cut them down to fit my A5 Kikki K. I used the "Oh Snap" stamp set to stamp on a few project life cards from the Inspire collection to stick with the color theme I was going for. I had to choose the right kind of card since they have to be cut down a bit. The sequins are a mix from Bella Creationz and  really are more pastel colors but I took the photo in the sun and they appear more dark vibrant colors which are not really true to the colors they are.

I love the pocket letters and have wanted to do some of them but I am a planner lover so this was a way to mix the two. Super easy and with a fuse tool you can pretty much create any size you want if you wanted to do the pockets from scratch. Just use regular letter size pocket protectors and make your pockets any size. I dressed it up with a flair button, some cute washi tape. The washi in top left is super cute but it is tinie tiny so you can't even see it but it is gold foil and says "love" on it.

Throw Back Thursday at Bella Creationz today

Hi Bev here today. Welcome to Throw back Thursday on Bella Creationz Timeless Twine.
I am sharing a double page layout that when I created it OMG years ago
I didn't use doily's, stamps, twine or sequins,
So much back then was about stickers, rubons and chipboard accents.

Below is the details of my changes and makeover to my page.

Clusters look awesome with a touch of sequins. I also stamped in 2 spots with fun green ink.

Another section with a cluster with more sequins.

I added Timeless Twine wrapped around and tied a knot.

This section shows a touch more wrapped twine with a metal key added.
Then below the chipboard accent I added a doily.

Here is my full revised double page with lots of Bella Creationz products.
Super fun to see it redone using so many more amazing products available from today.

Thanks for stopping by.. and be sure to check the store
out for all the amazing products available.

Oh Snap - It's Fun Friday!

While I love making Mini Albums and
other time consuming things, what I think is
the MOST fun is making a simple card!

Hi! This is Cathy from the Creative Crew

Simple card making is something that is
more than fun to me, it's relaxing.  I don't
have to think too hard and it seems that everyone
loves the thoughtfulness that goes into a
handmade card.  I also want to share
my love of simple card making with everyone
and I think if my projects are too challenging,
people may give up before they start AND they
think "this is too expensive, I'll just go buy a card"
Whoa! Where is the fun in that?

My card only has two layers on top of the card base.
I did add a layer of foam to pop up the tulips, but other
than that, it's a pretty simple card.  My tulips
are embossed with my Cuttlebug and then I chalked them
for a soft look.  I used a sentiment from the
OH SNAP set from BellaCreationz.
are almost always a given!

I tried to show you the glitz on the tulips!  I used
my Wink of Stella brush to add a little zip!

When you look at this stamp set you probably
think photo albums, mini albums, project life
but I saw OH SNAP and knew it needed
to be on a card.  I hope you
like my FUN card on this FUN FRIDAY!

Thanks for stopping!

Cathy

It's planNERD Sunday!!!

Hi, everyone!  Ashley here from Marine Wife's Scrappin' Life with your next installment of planNERD Sunday!  Today I'm going to share with you my April cover and month-at-a-glance pages, as well as my pages for this week, and I will include links to all of the Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine supplies at the end of my post.

I started out this month by edging my monthly divider with some Key Lime Sorbet twine from Timeless Twine, outlining the Mason jar with the same twine, and adding some sequins to the jar, flowers, and the dot on the 'i.'

For my month-at-a-glance page, I used planNERD and *NEW* Church Plans stamp sets to include things I already knew were going on this month.  I really LOVE the new Church Plans set!  There are so many great images and words to choose from.

I decided to go with a travel theme for this week and added some washi tape to the bottom of each page and a travel-themed washi tape across one of the dividers (to cover up labels I didn't want).  I added the "Hydrate" stamp from the planNERD set on each day, as I'm REALLY trying to lose weight and keep up with my water intake.  Then, I added small hearts (also from the planNERD set) I could check off for a to-do list and any other extras going on.  I included the "Project" stamp from the planNERD 2 set on Sunday, so I made sure I would check things off for my blog post when they're finished, then finished up the week by including some "Happy Anniversary" and love stamps from the Happy Days and Oh,Snap! stamp sets, since Wednesday is my tenth wedding anniversary.

Sequin/Shaker Saturday - A Non-traditional Approach

Hi again, friends!

It's spring!  It's allergy season!  It's time for fun, happy colors!!

Amber with Best Stamped Intentions with you today with a sequin/shaker Saturday project.

Typical shaker cards have a little bit of bulk to them that wasn't going to work for my purposes.  If something doesn't work for what you're needing, there's no rules that say you HAVE to do it a certain way.  Be creative!!

This is how thin the card is.

I guess you could say this isn't a traditional shaker card.
(I've always been a bit of a rule breaker. ;))

Here's the entire set that I made.

I am in {LOVE} with this 4x6 title card!  Before I put the sequins in, I tied a bow made out of Razzleberry Sorbet twine around the backer card.  I think it turned out great and it's definitely something I'll do again!

The smaller 3x4 cards:

I cut 3 smaller than the card strands of  Key Lime Sorbet twine and stapled them down on the card for some added texture.  The "Happy Spring" card is also a flat shaker and stamped with the Bella Creationz PlanNERD stamps, and the journaling card is stamped with the Oh, Snap! set.

(A slight obsession w/these stamps is happening here....)

This project was SO fun for me to do!  I can't wait for April to end so I can get my pics printed and get them and these cards right into my album. :)

xoxo, Amber
