Happy Birthday and red, white and blue

Hi Bev here today. I am having super fun with Firecracker timeless twine
from Bella Creationz this month.
It is perfect with the paper combo and also some more Bella Creationz sequins
and the Happy Days clears stamps for so many occasions.
Twine, sequins and stamps are great for so many creations and easy to use and
add as accents. On this card I stitched crosses in a row as accent and then
wrapped twine below the image to give it a base. I added sequins and stars scattered
for additional fun accents and more sparkle of colour.

Thanks for stopping by.. come again. Be sure to check
the store for may more fabulous fun accents and products.

4th of July celebration Tag

Hi Bev here today sharing my project today at Bella Creationz Timeless Twine  It's a fun
and colourful tag. I use red white and blue and more red white and blue.
Mixing paper and twine the same colouring was perfect.
The sentiment portion of the card was stamped using both
 stamp sets and combining them.
Making pompoms is super easy and fun and they are suitable on so many projects.
Wrap around 3 fingers, tie off the centre. cut apart and trim the ends to form the pompom.
This month we are celebrating using the  Firecracker Timeless Twine

Thanks for stopping by and see you again .. soon.

Throw Back Thursday at Bella Creationz today

Hi Bev here today. Welcome to Throw back Thursday on Bella Creationz Timeless Twine.
I am sharing a double page layout that when I created it OMG years ago
I didn't use doily's, stamps, twine or sequins,
So much back then was about stickers, rubons and chipboard accents.

Below is the details of my changes and makeover to my page.

Clusters look awesome with a touch of sequins. I also stamped in 2 spots with fun green ink.

Another section with a cluster with more sequins.

I added Timeless Twine wrapped around and tied a knot.

This section shows a touch more wrapped twine with a metal key added.
Then below the chipboard accent I added a doily.

Here is my full revised double page with lots of Bella Creationz products.
Super fun to see it redone using so many more amazing products available from today.

Thanks for stopping by.. and be sure to check the store
out for all the amazing products available.

Bella Creationz with a super cute door knob accent or wall hanging

Hi my creative friends .. I took some time playing with timeless twine from Bella Creationz.
I wasn't sure about what the finished theme would be but love what it turned out to be.
My grand daughter would love to hang this from her bedroom door. "girls only" is the perfect sentiment and it's always a Happy Day when friends spend time together.

Starting with twine, some medium length sticks and Beacon 3-in-1 glue and your all set to create.
Glue the cross portion of the sticks and let harden.
Now tie a knot around the centre cross section.

Now the fun part. Working always to the right take the twine over the 1st post, around and down under and up ... head now to the next post.. over around down under and up.

Continue around and around until the 4 sides of posts are all full.

Now before you cut the twine tie a knot and do it again around the last post. Leave an estimated length to make the tie or loop for adhering to either a door knob or maybe you would like it to be a wall hanger which need twine to tie it up also.
Here is the finished background piece.

To decorate this piece I started with a fun Scrapbook Stamp Society digital image from Sherri Baldy which I copic coloured. Then using the Bella Creationz Stamp set stamped the Happy Day.Using the Kreaxions circle cutter I sized the image. I stamped and copic coloured the pennants.
Using a Bella Creationz doily as a background base I layered all the pieces together.
I added the Girls Only sentiment and the cute fun coloured sequins were the perfect finishing touch.

Supply List:
Bella Creationz Products: Timeless Twine
Doily:
Sequins:
Other: digital image Scrapbook Stamp Society with Sherri Baldy
Markers: Copic

Technique Tuesday at Bella Creationz Timeless Twine..

hi.. Bev here today ..  how are you today..... So the question of the day?
How many of you have young girls, daughters or grand daughters who all have
tried using these store bought instruction books to make fabulous and creative
friendship bracelets. Well now that I am on this amazing twine design team -
Bella Creationz Timeless Twine...
I bought a book and played with it using timeless twine instead of embroidery floss or
other suggested twines... and OMG it looks so cool.
SO .. today's technique for the day is braiding.. using a book or you own patterns...
what ever works for you.

So easy to follow the detailed instructions and the colours are so colourful and bright.
It is a perfect way to use twine for many projects.
I didn't want to make a friendship bracelet but have many friends who read books and
it made a perfect extention to a book mark to hang outside the book when needing a marker.

Here is my finished tag made using Paper House papers and adding a braided twine tail marker... it's perfect for all those book reader out there... And with Timeless twine you have a choice of so many fabulous colours.

On sale this month is the Sorbet Collection.... super fun  combos to work with.

Thanks for stopping by .. hope to see you again soon.

Cards made easy using Bella Creationz newest products

Hi Bev here today.
At Bella Creationz today I am having so much fun with their new products
and am happy to share 2 cards today.
Up first is the Hello card. It started with the embossing of the new gold metallic sticker
sheet to fit the size of the card base.
The background base was spiratically inked and then stamped using both ink and glossy accents in opposite corner twice to outer corners leaving room for the embossed piece.
Twine was wrapped around 3 times and then after lightly tracing the word Hello I glued twine
to cover and say Hello.
For finishing touches I added both star and circular sequins.

Supply List:
Base card: misc
Paper: Bella Creationz Gold Metallic Sticker sheet
Twine: Bella Creationz Black Kraft bakers Timeless twine
Stamp: Bella Creationz Camera Stamp clear set
Embossing Folder: Sizzix
Ink: Tim Holtz ranger
Glossy Accents: ranger

*********************************************

For my 2nd simple, easy and fun card I used a stamp but inked it with 3 shades on a base card.
Notice I offset this part of the image.

After that I ink stamped a butterfly and sentiment.

To the right side I matched a cardstock panel close in colour to the inked image.
I wrapped solid twine to centre and on either outer edge wrapped with varigated twine.
The butterfly then needed a flight path made from some twine,
This is a simple but elegant style card and easy to make.

Sequin Shaker Saturday

Hi Bev here today with the a Sequin Shaker that is just too cute.... and easy to make.
along with Scrapbooking Stamp Society products to create my Sequin Shaker.

Supply List:
Plastic (shaped) cover left over from a purchase. Mine is the container to rolled foam.
There are many other options from toys and many other household purchases.
Paper for background - Paper House Nature PP-0036
Centre image, sticker or sentiment depending on theme of the shaker. Scrapbook Stamp Society/Sherri Baldy My-Besties 1" bottlecap Images
Ink: Tim Holtz ranger
Glue: Beacon 3-in-1
Other: flowers

Here is my plastic cover from rolled foam purchase.

Estimate the circular size of background base, make the paper slightly smaller
and estimate the image size. Precute them all.

Adhere the paper to background base. Ink all edges for depth.
The centre of my plastic is going to be glued down tight on image so
loosely place the sequins in the outer edge without going into outer band where
the plastic cover will be glued on top.

The glue for mine is on the outer white edge to keep the sequins in but also
added glue to outer white edge of image where it was flat and I didn't
want the image to be covered with sequins.
This will all be different if you use a full open plastic cover. (alter to suit your own person piece)

I used many rounds of twine which I glued on and tied a bow.

In the close up you can see things better and also note the fun floral accents used to finish it off.
Wouldn't this be cute hanging on a wall or from the door knob of a little girls room.

Thanks for visiting..  come again.... please.
