Fun in the Sun!!

Hello Everyone! Isha here today sharing a card. This month at Timeless Twine we are having a color challenge. The colors are:

06-2014 Aqua Cherry White 01

I used the firecracker Twine, which is a perfect match to this color challenge and I love it so much and really like the knotted effect.  The title comes from our visit to Safari park 2 years back. We saw some zebras and giraffes and it was total fun on a sunny day :) The pattern paper, sun and the sentiments are from our new kit at Bella Creationz!

Eye Love U!

 June Color Challenge

Hello again, Brianna here with today's post as promised! Eye can't begin to tell you how much I love today's card.
Okay, now you can SEE what I  mean lol! Mine and my hubbies 5 year wedding anniversary is coming up so I thought I would make him, his anniversary card. He will actually be getting a couple of cards that day :) Keeping in mind June's color challenge theme, I used some Aqua Blue and Red Bakers Twine.
I probably will never make one of these cards again because it was so time consuming, even though I loved the outcome. I hand glued each one these googly eyes down using a dab of hot glue, so I know the card is sturdy. I hope my hubby likes it as much as I do.
Thank you all for stopping by and have a great week!!

**Proud To Be American**

Hello Everyone, Brianna here with today's post! I am going to be sharing with you two weeks in a row this month. I will be heading out to San Diego for two weeks at the end of next week, for a work trip. I  am so nervous to be away from my peanut for two whole weeks :( he will be turning 3 on June 13th and I fly out on the 15th. I have only been away from him for one day since he's been born. I also am not a fan of flying, but at least I get to be in first class. Wish me luck and no panic attacks!!
I can even talk about it without having anxiety, so lets get on with my project.
We are going to be doing something a little different for the month of June. We will be showcasing projects using the colors; red, white and aqua.
Here is what I came up with....
So, not only did I used red, white and aqua papers but I used some awesome,

Aqua Blue and Red Bakers Twine.

My card base and title are by Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons. The stars cut out with the top layer of the file. I ran my atg tape all along the back of the card and then laid out my strips of twine. Once done I popped it up using some thick foam tape. I finished it off by adding some wooden Studio Calico stars and some red liquid pearls.
I hope you all enjoyed by Red, white and Aqua creation!
I will see you all next Monday with my second creation :)

It's Graduation Time

Happy Memorial Day, all the USA blog readers!  This is Julie, from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers sharing with you today.  I hope you enjoy the holiday.  I'm working today, but it will still be a special day.  I'm hoping to take residents to the Memorial Day parade this morning (weather permitting) and the VFWA is coming in for a Memorial Day program this afternoon.
I've needed a BUNCH of Graduation cards lately, so I fired up my Silhouette, got out my favorite twine, and got busy!

This graduation hat shaped card is a cutting file from SVG Attic called Up For Grads.  I used the school colors of the Graduate, and it just so happened that they were Patriotic for Memorial Day.  I love such a nice coincidence!  The tassel, is of course, Timeless Twine

I used Aqua Blue and Red baker's twine.  It's one of my favorites, and just perfect for the upcoming celebrations!
This card was for one of my staff.  She's worked for me for 8 years.  Five years ago, she went back to college to get her degree in early childhood education.  She was able to keep working for me on the weekends and some evenings.  I am SO proud of her that she obtained her goal and graduated.  She deserves the biggest tassel I can fit on that cap!
Don't forget about the Photo Fun Challenge going on! Link up for your chance to win twine and a reaaaallly cool stamp set!
