Elephants Always Remember Gifts

Hello, crafty friends, Julie O here today from her new blog, Muddy Paws and Inky Fingers.  My first blog got hacked last Friday, and totally disappeared.  Every post I ever made on anyone else's blog is affected, too.  The pictures are gone -- poof!  I would LOVE it if you could stop by my new blog and become a follower.  There's blog candy to win, including yummy Bella Creationz products!

I love any excuse to play with the gorgeous goodies found in the Bella Creationz Etsy Shop, so I had a great time with this!

Hellooooo Summer?

Hello, crafty friends! Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  It was 39 degrees where I live this morning.  But, this month, we're thinking Summer and the 4th of July.  This whole month, Firecracker twine is being featured (aqua blue and red), and it's one of my favorites!
I found a treat box in the Silhouette Design Store that spoke to me of summer:

Firecracker Baker's Twine (on SALE!!!)

Hello Summer Clear Stamp Set -- LOVE this set!

I used 2 shades of Stamp Markers on the "Hello Summer" sentiment, stamping directly on the tag, then attached it with baker's twine, making a handle for my ladybug treat box.

Summer is coming.  When it does, I'm ready with my treat box and Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz goodies.  There's a whole shop full of wonderfulness.  Check it out!!!

Happy Day Shake, Shake, Shaker!

Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  It's Shaker Saturday, and I love shaker cards! I had a blast with this one!  The hardest part was deciding which one to make.  Since I also love canning jars, I combined two loves in one:
This shaker card is a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe.
Everything else is from Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz:
The sequins
2 colors of Sorbet Timeless Twine (I used Watermelon Sorbet and Key Lime Sorbet)
White Heart Sticker

Happy Days Stamp Set

I seriously LoVe this stamp set.  It can be used in so many different ways.  Versatile to the MAX!
Thanks for shaking up your Saturday with me!

Bunny Love!

It's Friday, it's Friday!  I love Fun Friday!  This is Julie from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with you today. What better way to have fun than a cute QKR Stampede image, a matching sentiment, and some pretty, springtime Timeless Twine to go with it?

I colored this adorable QKR Stampede image and sentiment.  I colored the Springtime Bunny with Copic markers.   I used a few dies on this card -- large heart by Die-namics, half-circle heart die by Memory Box.  The edges of the large heart are inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Spun Sugar. The pink hearts that I wrapped with Timeless Twine were on my desk, left over from a Valentine project. The designer papers are from the My Mind's Eye Dwell 6x6 pad.
The fun twine?  All Timeless Twine, of course!  That goes without saying. I used all 3 twines from the Sorbet Collection (on SALE this month!)

I used Watermelon SorbetKey Lime Sorbet, and Razzleberry Sorbet. Please don't ask me to pick a favorite, because I can't.  I love them all!

Loves Live Here -- Again!

Happy Thursday, everyone -- almost the weekend!  It's Julie today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersIt's time for Throwback Thursday.
I switched computers not too long ago, and not all my pictures from previous cards made it on to the new computer, so I looked through old cards until I found what I was looking for.
Here's the remake of the card:
Here's the original:
The stamp is from Unity Stamp Company. The new version of the card was colored with Prismacolor pencils. I made the background paper using a cloud embossing folder, a resist technique, and spray inks.

Metallic Graphic Gray Sequins -- coming soon

I want to invite you back to Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers blog  March 20-22 for "Julie's Blogoversary Blog Hop."  I've gathered my friends for the 3rd edition of this event.  They'll be lots of inspiration and even more prizes -- including a $20 gift certificate to the Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz store, donated by Stacy. (Thank you Stacy!)
Throwback Thursday = fun!

Love You, Friend.

It's Wednesday, and this is Julie from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. Today is "To Die for Wednesday." The goal is to use a die cut somewhere on the project.  I used 5, for good measure!
The image and sentiment are a stamp set from Unity Stamp Co.  I colored the image with colored pencils -- something new for me. Once that was done, the die cutting began.  I cut out the image with a Spellbinders label die, then placed it on another Spellbinder die.  The feathers and ribbon slide are also Spellbinders dies. Papers are all from Close To My Heart. The image was printed on Canson Mi Tiente paper.
I used Timeless Twine in Olive Green to wrap around the feathers and through the ribbon slide, along with some crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM.

Easter Taggin'

It's "Tag It Tuesday", and this is Julie from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers sharing today. I decided to get a jump start on my Easter cards.  I always make and give away a few for the holiday, so I might as well get started!

The image, by Gerda Steiner, was colored with Copic markers.  I had the chipboard glasses from a Simon Says Stamp card kit.  I thought they added the perfect "nerdy" look to the rabbit.
Papers on this card are from Close To My Heart.

Monochromatic Tiny Hearts Bag

It's Monday, and I get to start the first Monochrome Monday.  Yea!  I went with a Valentine's Day theme since it's February.

I found this Tiny Hearts Gift Bag in the Silhouette Design Store.
Then, it was time to embellish my bag, and that's where Timeless Time and Bella Creationz shines! The pink tag, from the Bella Creationz Etsy Store, is one of the Multi-Colored Gift Tags. I used the new "Happy Days" clear Stamp set and stamped the sentiment on the tag.  Then, I wrapped the Gift Bag in lush Strawberry Cupcake Baker's Twine.

I added a splash of aqua color on the handle with some crinkle ribbon.
Join us all month for great fun and inspiration! Don't forget to check out the Timeless Twine Facebook Page for more great inspiration, and the Bella Creationz Facebook page

Happy Treat Bag

Hello, and happy Monday!  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  We're having a little light snow here today, so the project I'm sharing here seems the perfect fit.
My husband takes his lunch to work everyday.  I like to make little surprises for him and tuck them in his lunch bag.  This is one of those surprises:

I found this Snowflake Short Envelope Bag at the Silhouette Design store.  I used Aqua Blue TwineCherry Red TwineClearly Beloved Sequins, and Clearly Beautiful Loose Mixed Sequins on this bag.

Tucked inside the Snowflake envelope is a Bella Creationz Kraft Tag.

I covered a portion of it with designer paper, then used the "NEW" Bella Creationz Happy Days Clear Stamp Set (year round sentiments).

Supplies used on tag:

I had so much fun making my happy snowflake treat bag.  I hope it makes my husband's day brighter!
Make sure to stop by this blog everyday for great inspiration, and don't forget to check the Timeless Twine Facebook page for fun and inspiration, and there's the Twine-aholics Facebook Page for even more good times!

I want Peace (and chocolate)

Hello, everyone!  It's Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersI get to be the first Twine-ista of 2015 to post on the blog.  Yea! Since it's so early in the New Year, I thought I'd share my new year's resolution with all of you.
This year, in an attempt to actually keep it for a change, I've resolved to eat MORE chocolate.  Yes!  I think I can keep this one.
This sentiment, from Unity Stamp Company, was the perfect fit for my resolution. Of course, Timeless Twine and Bella Creationz products tie the whole card together.
You'll see!

I cut the tag out on my Cricut Expression 2, using the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge on Close To My Heart Kraft card stock. Then, I stamped the Chocolate Bar sentiment. I used American Crafts Hot Cocoa 6x6 papers on this card.
The baker's twine is Cherry Red
The sequins are Clearly Beautiful Loose Mixed Sequins.

There will be a whole year of great inspiration from this year's Creative Crew so make sure to visit each day!
I'm off to eat more chocolate -- see you soon!

Firecracker Christmas Tree

Hello, fellow twine lover!  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersIt's Monday, and Christmas is oh-so-close!  You can see it from here!  This last week, as I'm sure you've noticed, the Twine-istas have been featuring projects with Firecracker Twine.

We needed a small Christmas tree in our house, since our dog, Sophie, steals ornaments off of anything she can reach.
This is our Christmas tree this year:

I was busy tying bows on this tree! And, it is, of course, Timeless Twine from top to bottom, in Firecracker (Aqua Blue and Red).
The 3D Christmas tree is an SVG cutting file from Snapdragon Snippets.
All card stock is from Close To My Heart.
Christmas tree up and decorated?  Check!
Have a wonderful, meaningful Christmas season, everyone!

I {heart} You

Happy Monday, fellow twine lovers.  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersMy sweetie is back at work for the week.  He packs his lunch every morning.  Now and then, I like to put a little surprise in for him, just so he knows I'm thinking of him.  Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine have lots of bags and containers to make this very easy to do.

This small glassine bag (3x5 1/2) was the perfect size for a package of cookies and a small bag of candy. Then, all I needed to do was decorate it up a bit. The Plan Nerd 2 stamp set was just what I needed. A bit of imagination, a bit of stamping, and I had a love letter for my hubby.

I wrapped the bag with Autumn Splendor (on SALE for $4.50!) Timeless Twine.  The burlap flower is from Pinque Peacock. I didn't want anything too "girly".  After all, it's in my husband's lunch today!
