Silver, Gold and Kraft Christmas

Karen N here from Craftily Yours! Today, I'm excited to be sharing with you a Christmas card using Kraft paper and Timeless Twine in Kraft Brown.

I love how the silver and gold looks with this Kraft paper.  To add some fun color and shine, I added some pretty sequins from the Bella Creationz Clearly Beautiful set.  I LOOOOOVE sequins almost as much as I love Timeless Twine!!  For good measure, you also cannot go wrong with a beautiful 4" Bella Creationz doily.

Craftily yours,

Karen

❤{Thankful Tuesday}❤

Make this your mantra: "I will be grateful for this day."

Some days are totally terrible, I get it. It seems like a lot of people I am surrounded by is having a tough time, I fully understand. In the midst of that, remember that you can turn your day around.  Remember that you are loved, remember that you are worth it, remember that you are somebody's everything.

I created a Thanksgiving card for today's post:

 I used:

Box For Dad

Mandi from The Kraze of MJ is here.Hope everyone is taking time out today to spend time with their dad's. Today, I am going to share with you a box I made for a gift for my dad.
All the papers and diamond dew drops are from this month's partner, The Robin's Nest. I created a belt that wraps around the box and adhere everything to it. The twine swirls are attached to box. To do the wording and swirls wit the twine I used glossy accents to make them.
The twines I used are Natural and Kraft Brown twines. These are so perfect to a guy's project.

WWII Page

Mandi, here.with a page of my Grandpa and his WWII buddies. I am so happy that this month we are teaming up with my other love, The Robin's Nest, and I am not just saying that because I am on their team either.
I used the twine as tassels in the tags and also did a straight stitch on the black paper and a whip stitch along the stripe paper.
All the papers, dew drops and most of the stickers are from The Robin's Nest. Stop by my blog for the complete supply list.
I love the how these elegant papers can be paired so nicely with these natural, graphite gray and kraft brown twines.

You Rock!

Hey All!! It's Kristy here sharing a rockin' Father's Day card with all of you!!

Mother's Day is out of the way and now it's time to get those Father's Day cards ready to go. Here's a quick and fun card that totally rocks! You could use this card for any man in your life; it's not just for father's.

I used the twine as the guitar strings for this. I think it adds the perfect "realistic" touch to the guitar.

For this card I used the Natural twine.

If you haven't noticed, this twine is amazing and goes with EVERYTHING!

Thanks for taking a peek at my card today and I hope you all have a twine-tastic day!!

Basket Weave Card

Hi Everybody!
Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, and I'm excited to be sharing another design team project with you :O)  All my kids are in school or napping, so I actually have a couple of hours to play during the day!  So I decided to try a weaving technique using the best twine :)  Here are the details:

*Jaded Blossom - Feeling Fruity stamp set (sentiment)
*Preserves Cricut cartridge - strawberries
*Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge - basket
*My Mind's Eye, Stampin' Up! - patterned paper
*Recollections - brown cardstock

*To create the weaving on the basket, I first ran a strip of adhesive down.
*Then I took a few strands of Kraft twine at a time and created rows.
*Next I ran another strip of adhesive parallel to the other.
*I took a few strands of Chocolate Chip twine at a time, and weaved them through the Kraft twine going over, under, over, under, etc.

*For the strawberries, I put adhesive on both sides of the cut and wrapped some Cherry Red twine around it.
*I used Olive Green twine for the "stems".

I hope you liked my project :O) Make sure you come back to check out more amazing twine inspired projects from the design team! And don't forget to check out the Timeless Twine August challenge HERE. TFL, and have a twine-tastic day!
