Hello Summer Card

Hi everyone, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs. For todays project I decided to make a card, I used "Hello Summer" stamp set from Bella Creationz and "Raspberry Lemonade" twine. The patterned papers and the bee's are from a couple of Echo Park's paper collections from the last year or two.

The banner die set is from Craftin Desert Diva's, the pink banner is actually the smaller banner cut in half which I then adhered to the top and bottom backside of the larger die, to make it appear longer. I put foam tape behind most of the layers, cut out some photo corners and voila, the card is complete!

Enjoy...

Summer-Time Fun

I {heart} summer.  Ok, it's a lie....I really hate summer.  It's hot.  BUT I love bright, fun, color-filled cards!  Karen N here from from Craftily Yours, and here's my bright, fun, color-filled SuMMeR card!

That super FuN twine is Timeless Twine in Raspberry Lemonade.  The sun and the sentiment are from Bella Creationz Hello Summer stamp-set.  (The flip-flops are from an old There She Goes stamp-set.)  The paper I used is from Basic Grey Hey Girl.

Have you seen all the pretty stuff over at the Bella Creationz/Timeless Twine etsy store.  More stuff is added all the time, so be sure to check it out!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Craftily yours,

Karen

Wind Storm!

Amber here from Best Stamped Intentions with some fun photo inspiration to wrap your week up with!

Here's the picture we were to use:

I loved the color combination in the picture, so I chose to focus on that.

Here's what I came up with:

A very clean and simple LO to document a pretty scary storm we had roll through Salt Lake City back in April.  Even with as simple as this LO is, the twine REALLY adds to it and makes it a little more fancy! :)

I used Cherry and Aqua twine (which are also ON SALE for $8/spool!!  SCORE!!), and my go-to Days of the Week journaling card.

Minion of Fun

Today I decided I need to make something just fun. My granddaughters birthday is coming up and we booked a beach house in Gulf shores and they are all coming and meeting us there. It happens to be during her birthday so she really thinks she is special and that the trip is all for her!

I thought a fun little card for her birthday that is also summer related would be cute. I used a minion file from SVGcuttingfiles to accomplish that!

We had a photo to use as inspiration which I will show below so going off all those bold colors I thought this would capture several of them. I used "Simply Black" twine to create some hair. I just pulled the twine apart to give it a string like texture. It was great because it also created a curvy wave to the hair from it being braided together before.

The sentiment is from the "Hello Summer" stamp set that Bella Creationz has. Its perfect for this card with the playful minion.

I used some glossy accents on the eyes to give it some dimension and interest and I also used wink of stella all over the bathing suit top and skirt. I love that stuff. Can't capture it great in a photo but it looks great in person.

I tied a knot in the Aqua and Pumpkin orange and let it flow and adhered each piece using scotch quick dry. I use a special bottle and a fine tip for all my paper piecing and its great for putting down twine like this.

Used a little foam to pup it all off the card. Products will be shown and links are all above!

Your Smile

Hi friends! It's me Pad.
Time flies so fast and it's already July now. My scrapbook project for this early July is make a single page (12"x12") using only 1 photo, decorate it with lot of pretty twines from Timeless Twines and tapes. I used Hello Summer Stamp from Bella Creationz too. Another supplies are from October Afternoon, Echo Park, AC and Elle's Studio. And you can see the result below :

I played so much fun using twines and tapes, try to combining them both on the page and make a playful statement with adding mini triangle flag papers on the twines.

Here's my supplies from Timeless Twine / Bella Creationz :

Happy Birthday Box of Letters

Hi there, Maria here from Maria Lina's Creative Designs. For my next challenge, I was to create a project using the colors of the inspiration photo posted below....blue, orange, red and yellow. July is a very busy month around here for birthdays, one of them being my husbands. So I came up with the idea of making this box for heartfelt letters from myself and the kids, the notes are light enough that I made a twine handle to hold the box.

I bought the svg file from svgcuts.com "Country Market", in the video Mary gives the option to add lights to the arrow, in this case I did not. The twine that was used is the Cherry Red, Pumpkin Orange, Lemonade Yellow and Aqua Blue. The papers used are from K&Company and the brads and eyelets are from Recollections.

Enjoy...

Timeless Twine Wrappings

Karen N here from Craftily Yours!  In the first part of this month, we were asked to create projects that are inspired by a bright orange and yellow flowered photo.  I love creating with this palette and decided to wrap a present using it and some fun Lemonade Yellow Timeless Twine:

How fun is it to give a simple gift wrapped with love.  I had won a WRMK box maker at a crop a couple months ago, so the box itself was easy.  Then, I wrapped it in twine and topped it with a Heartfelt Creations flower, a button and yes, some more Timeless Twine.

Do you do any special wrapping for your presents?  Be sure to check out the Bella Creationz/Timeless Twine shop for all your gift giving needs!

Craftily yours,

Karen

Happy Birthday Chickie!

Hello there, I'm back with another quick and easy project!  It's Jenni from Wish I Was Scrappin and I'm sharing a birthday card perfect for your BFF!

I've used some scraps and bits and pieces of papers for this one.....the image and "hey chickie" are from Paper Smooches as is the paper die. I used my Tombow Art Markers to color in the little birdie! From Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine I used the Firecracker Twine, clearly beautiful sequins and Happy Days Stamps to complete!  I absolutely love how this turned out!

This is my last post as a DT member!  I'm sad to be leaving, but SOOO glad to have been here for the time I was!!  Follow my blog and I'll maybe see you around in blogland!  Thanks for all the fantastic support!!

Let's Party Like It's 1776.

Hi friends. :)

Amber with Best Stamped Intentions with some 4th of July inspiration for you!

Can you believe that the 4th of July is right around the corner?  It's BY FAR my favorite holiday, and I am positive I'll have 8700 pictures to add to my album.

I've been enjoying making the cards ahead of time so I can just slip those pictures in.  Makes it even more quick and easy to keep my album caught up!

I love the stitching on the title card....even though I am pretty sure I found the needle with the smallest eye.  Make sure you've got a BIG eye'd needle or it's REALLY hard to thread the twine.  Trust me. :)

For these cards, I used Firecracker Twine, Happy Days clear stamps, Days of the Week journaling cards, and a Paper Lace Doilies.

Have a safe holiday!

xoxo, Amber
