Love Notes

Karen N here from Craftily Yours!  Our theme this month is 3D Valentines.  Love Valentines and heartsy stuff, so I'm super excited!

For my first project this month, I made my DH, Matt, a little post-it note holder. Isn't it so cute? *grin*  I tied it closed with gorgeous yummy Timeless Twine in Cherry Red, Chocolate Chip Brown, and Strawberry Truffle Pink!  Sounds like a really yummy candy.  I tried to keep the feel of it masculine, but I had to add some sparkle to remind him of me!  The gold sequins were part of my stash, but that heart sequin (that's so shiny it's hard to photograph!) is from Bella Creationz mixed loose sequins pack

The brown "love" heart is covered in a thick layer of glossy accents to remind Matt that I do "puffy heart" love him!  Onto the inside....yes, it's a pink post-it note pad.  It's the only color I had!  I added a couple Bella Creationz heart stickers and another sequin to dress it up a bit.

Fun.....and easy!  I posted the measurements on my blog if you're interested!

Thanks for stopping by today!  You can pick up the twine and little doo-dads too at the Timeless Twine / Bella Creationz store!  We'd definitely puffy heart that!

Craftily and twine-tastically yours,
Karen

Birthday Card Parade!

Hello Friends!

Wanna know what happens when I (Melissa S) get a kit + some gorgeous Timeless Twine? I bust out a TON of cards. These are my happiest crafting sessions :)

I'm loving the woodgrain paper and toothpicks!

 This is a glassine envelope.

Using vellum is a great way to tone down busy pattern papers! I had to use my scraps on this one so the vellum was handy!

I used a Basic Grey collection with coordinating embellies for all the cards. The Strawberry Truffle Timeless Twine matches perfectly!

Stitching and Smiles :)

Hello Twine-tastic Friends!

Melissa here with a fun stitched card. I used some stencils and Strawberry Truffle twine!

I don't have a sewing machine so I love, love, love hand stitching on cards. It's not the fastest, but just put on some crafty YouTube videos and stitch away!

Here is my card using these two delicious twines.....

I can never start my day without coffee, how about you !? This cute little coffee pot is from Lettering Delights & the sentiment is from Cardz T.V.
I added some Natural Twine to the steam coming out of the coffee pot and behind the cutout on the heart by sentiment. The Strawberry Truffle twine I added behind the resin flowers and to the handle.
I want to thank you all for stopping by and hope you have a fabulous Wednesday!!
Brianna

This is a perfect mailable card.......no buttons, no big embellishments.
Twine is the PERFECT way to add "pop" to a card without the bulk!

Owl you need is a friend

Hello Everyone, It's Brianna from Happy Scrapper! I have a really cute 3D shadow box to show you that I made for a sweet new friend, "Whoo" loves owls, just like me !!
I used some Strawberry Truffle Timeless Twine to frame around my image and to also go into the seams of my frame. I also added some as accents under my flowers. I just love how the twine make the image just pop out.
My shadow box is from SVGCuts.com and is from, Santa's Helpful Elves file. My owls are from the online silhouette store and I just
re-sized them to fit into a 4x6 frame.
I just love all the things you can do with twine and the silhouette they just go perfectly together.
Thanks for stopping by and I will see you all next time !!

Tic-Tac-Toe

Hello Friends!

Melissa here, with a fun and quick card! I love stitching on my cards and thought the Strawberry Truffle would be perfect for a love card.

I marked the center of the card using my T-square ruler and then drew a grid. I didn't want the grid to be perfectly even so I hand drew the lines but using the T-square so at least the lines were straight. Then you just poke holes at the ends of all the lines and where the lines cross and stitch away! Easy!

Twine Tip: if the full 4 strands of twine are too thick for the look you want, just pull out a string or two and the thread will be thinner!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a twinetastic day!

Twine HEARTS ❤ ❤

Good Morning and Happy Day.. Annette here with you today with some fun twine hearts. I just love to use my die's with the twine. Really makes for fun cut outs. I just glued down the twine with Martha Stewart all purpose gel glue and let it dry. Within 10 minutes I had these cute hearts. Not much to this card but don't you just love it. Those twine hearts really make the card.
On this card I used the Timeless Twine
