Valentine's Note Cards

Hi Everyone! Hope your are all having a great Monday!
This is Gaby from www.gabycreates.com and am super
excited to be posting my first project as a member of
the Twineology Design Team.

I created four little Valentine's note cards...

I cut the designs with my cutting machine and used the negative to write lightly with pencil.  I traced the pencil lines with adhesive and went to work with the yummy Strawberry Cupcake Valentine's Day Twine! it was that simple!  (You might be thinking...why didn't she just use the pens in her cutting machine? well because I can use the cuts for other projects, ha!).

I additionally want to share a project I created in December and have not yet shared/posted.  I crochet this little ornament to give to my sister that just loves to knit.

I was inspired by a similar design that I saw at the Red Heart site a while back but was knitted... while I know the basics of knitting I prefer to crochet, while my sister that does know how to crochet, prefers to knit. (I do not have a pattern, I usually crochet by looking or thinking/imagination... I have been crocheting since I was 6).

Sneak Peak at Aqua Delight

What a great way to start the weekend with a sneak peak.

This is the newest color added to the Timeless Twine collection.  

It is the perfect twist of aqua and chocolate brown making it "Aqua Delight".  Isn't it Yummy?  

It is not yet available, but it will be VERY soon!  I can't wait.

Chinese Paper Lantern

Hi Twine-aholics!

I'm so excited to be designing for Timeless Twine, and I look forward to creating and sharing with you!

Today I'd like to share a 3D Chinese paper lantern that I made for the upcoming Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year will begin on January 23rd, and 2012 is the Black Water Dragon year.

Supplies:
3D Chinese Lanterns from Cricut Craft Room (cut-outs hidden)
Dragon and character (strength) cut using Pagoda cartridge
Black Coffee and White Timeless Twine

Twine-tastic Bookmark

Hi Everybody!

Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, and I am so excited to share my first project with you as a Timeless Twine Design Team member!! 

My kids were recently home for two weeks on winter break.  They love to read a lot while they're on vacation (yay!), so I decided to make them some bookmarks to help them keep their place.  Here are the details:

*Sophie Cricut cartridge

*Timeless Twine - Strawberry Cupcake Valentine's Day Bakers Twine

*Peachy Keen  - PK-660 Laughy Taffy Face Assortment

*Jaded Blossom sneak peek

*Using my Gypsy, I welded this flower shape onto one of the bookmarks on the Sophie Cricut cartridge.

*I stamped a Peachy Keen face in the center.

*To add the twine, I just started at one hole, and wove through each one until they were filled up.

*Isn't that twine sooo yummy??

*I stamped the sentiment randomly on the bottom portion.  I added some hand drawn hearts with a red glitter gel pen, and some stitching with a white gel pen.

I hope you liked how it turned out :)  I love the texture the twine adds!  This could easily be adapted to put on a card front, or as a scrapbook page embellishment.  Make sure to be a follower of the Timeless Twine blog, so you don't miss any of the amazing projects from the fabulous Design Team.  See you next time!
