Timeless Twine and Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon Holiday Blog Hop

 I had so much fun using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files with Timeless Twine.  The files are fun and so colorful!  I will be using them to create more fun projects for Christmas.  Even though I do not have my Cameo set up yet, I was still able to use the PPPR digital files effortlessly.

 I used the Christmas Brights Flourish Digital Paper to wrap each of the kraft boxes.

How fun are these trendy color combos for Christmas?  I looooove them.

I used Razzleberry Sorbet, Watermelon Sorbet, and Strawberry Cupcake Timeless twine to tie it all up.

It goes perfectly with the PPPR Christmas Brights collection.

How cute is this lil' tag?  I added some fun fonts with a saying 

and a silly elf then printed it on a white sticker tag.

I added it to a cute lil' kraft bag with some goodies in it.

The cute lil' elf is from the PPPR digital clip art "Silly Little Elf Girl".

You can tie it up with some Cherry Red Timeless Twine.  It goes great with the tags.

Snowman Soup

Hey Everyone! 

It's Kristy here from Scraptastical Kreations and today I'm sharing with you all a fun and cute way to package up some snowman soup! I seen this idea on You Tube, so it's not my original idea, but I loved it so much I did a bunch of these for a craft fair I was in over the weekend. 

 

For this I used the Chocolate Chip Twine and the Natural Twine.

Holiday Wishes

 

Hi everyone!  Amy K. here today and this month we are celebrating with the theme of GIFT PACKAGING!  There is no better time of year to give out those handmade goodies.....

 

I've hand stamped my own pillow box and embellished with some fabulous Olive Green Twine.  I've also stamped a gorgeous tag and tied it with Aqua Delight Twine.  I just love these colors for winter!!!

A jar full of Sweetness

Debbie here with Bugjuiced....If your like me you are panicking just a bit right now. I mean did you think we would already be in the "zone" of Christmas already!? Now its like 3 weeks away and I am so not ready. I am a card maker but do you think I got any cards done to send to me friends? Thats a big fat NO 10-4 good buddy....I feel like such a bad bad friend, scrapper, crafter of stuff that just gets displayed or done for a project.

My new years resolution (really I never do the resolution thing but lets give it a whirl) will be to be more prepared for my friends and families birthdays and holidays, get more healthy (this one will be tough) and forget that my skin and body has broke through the levy... it couldn't hold it anymore and said your on your own sister. I feel like the conversation my skin had with my body kinda went like this...in the voice of Scotty from Star Trek saying in that accent "Captain we don't have the power" and then its over.

Maybe it seems over dramatic or superficial to some but it has been a tough few years for me. Health wise I should have buzzards swarming me about right now I think. Menopause has taken a toll on me and definitely my sense of humor. My poor husband doesn't quite want to turn his back on me for not knowing if I am going to smash him in the head with something. Is this too much TMI for you all? But I have to find something to laugh about now.

I made these projects for Timeless Twine and it is with several of the products that are available in the store. See there is more than twine in BellaCreationz store. Check out the site and see how many fun things she has that you could make some really cute gifts for your peeps with.

This jar has the Doily & Cherry Red Twine. I used a cut file from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons and then on the bottom layer I wrapped twine around it also to give it some pop of color through the cut outs. The mittens are also from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons. I thought the wreath was perfect to place in the center of the doily.

I then used a Gable box from BellaCreationz and make a large bow-ish thing out of Olive Green Twine for the front of my box. I placed a snowflake cutout on it and then used some red stickles just in the center to give it a bit of a pop. Honestly I would have used more stickles but those darn things get clogged up every couple seconds and I got tired of fighting with it! :) I love these gable boxes, truly I do. I put some pattern paper on the front just to dress it up a bit. I also used a red tag from the store and stamped in white ink on the front. I planned on embossing it but my embossing tool (only used a handful of times) burnt up! I had smoke coming out of it!

Twine-istas 2014

It has been an amazing year and the 2013 Twine-istas sure didn't disappoint with all their inspirational projects.  They have been super sweet, creative, and just amazing to work with.  I could be more proud to call them family and now friends for life. Thank you to all of you ladies who made this year so much fun, I will miss you being on the team.

On that note, it's that time of year to say good bye to a few.  I am positive you will still see more twine-tastic creations from them on their blogs, so please remember to continue to follow them for more twine-spiration...I know I know....I just made that word up, but I think it sounds good. LOL!

OK OK....I know you are exciting for me to spill the beans on who will be the newest Twine-istas.

Well first, I would like to send a great BIG  "THANK YOU" to everyone who took the time to submit to be a part of our family.  I saw pretty amazing and creative projects and it definitely didn't make my decision very easy.  It is tough to tell anyone  no when their work is amazing.  I wish I could have an endless amount of ladies on the team, but there are only so many days in the week to schedule everyone.  Again, thank you so much for submitting your resumes and projects.

A Gift for You

Good Morning.

I don't know about you but I love this time of the year.  I think one of my favorite things to see is the reaction on someone's face when they are opening their presents.  I love giving gifts, even if they are small gifts.  I have this cute little box to share with you today.  It is perfect for some Oreo truffles.  Mmmm Oreo's. ;)  Check out my gift box.  

The box is the Kraft Natural Pinstripe Box from Timeless Twine.  To wrap the box I used the Olive Green & Cherry Red Twine.  I thought instead of wrapping the box in wrapping paper I would use the doily as a nice little accent.  I love how everything looks together.

~Vintage Christmas~

Hello everyone, Brianna here from Happy Scrapper! Here at Timeless Twine in the month of December we are sharing "Gift Giving" themed projects with you all. I have decided to whip up a sweet little treat bag, using supplies from Bella Creationz.

I used one of the White French Fry Bags (small), which you can purchase from the Bella Creationz, Etsy store. I also used some Christmas Twist, Timeless Twine, on my treat bag and created a tassel. I do plan on giving this to a special someone filled with yummy candy this Christmas. I already ate all the kisses I had put in it to begin with, lol!! I hope other people do this as well, I always buy candy to make things and then as I am making my projects I eat half the candy.

★{Peppermint Sticks & Sparkling Spun Sugar}★

When I was little, my Auntie Catherine and Uncle Jim gave me one of the best gifts I ever received...The Nutcracker Suite album. Not only was it The Nutcracker Suite, it was a dual fold album with a centerfold of magical enchantment. I was instantly transported. I also received a Nutcracker book from Auntie Catherine and Uncle Jim, the year was 1981. This book is one of my very favorites because of the illustrations. 

The funny thing is....I don't know that Auntie understands the impact this gift has had...each year much to my parents simultaneous delight and dismay...I performed the entire Nutcracker Suite in front of our fireplace hearth. I danced my wee heart out from the start of the overture to the final waltz. My Mom clapped with gusto in all the right places and my Dad doing his best to stay awake, they were amazingly wonderful parents. ❤

I was listening to The Nutcracker Suite today as I do every year, my creations today are a reflection of that.
