Twine Color Swatches

Hello Friends!

Melissa here today and I wanted to show you how I made some twine color swatches. I love me some color swatches, I have all my inks stamped out too.

Super simple to do.
~the tags are from Office Depot (but you could totally die cut your own. Or even just cut some paper)
~I poked 8 holes and stitched!
~then you put all the swatches on a binder ring.
~write the name of the color on the back!

There's TONS of fun goodies HERE to shop your heart out!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a twin-tastic day!

your friendship warms my ❤

Howdy and Happy Monday!

It's Amy T and I'm going to share a card I designed using the oh-so-fabulous

Timeless Twine

Here's the background to my card today:

I bought this for the first time the other day because:

1. I love the packaging.
2. It was on sale.

Here's how it inspired me:

I obviously used the main colors of the packaging.

What's that?

Where's the Natural Bakers Twine?

I used this:

and

I swiped the Rhubarb Stalk on the Natural Bakers Twine.

Rhubarb Stalk is also what I used for the darker hearts that I stamped on my card.  You can see how well the twine picked up the ink.

The Natural Bakers Twine is perfect to customize any of the craft projects!

Thanks so much for poppin' by!

Nautical hello!

Hi everyone!  It's Amy K. here with a nautical card to share!!!!

If you follow trends at all then you may know that all things 'NAUTICAL' are in.  I've had this little idea in my head to do ever since Timeless Twine by Bella Creationz came out with their Natural Twine.  Don't you just LOVE that tiny Sailor's Knot??  I DO.......a LOT!  With the current release of Neat & Tangled's On the Strip 2 stamp set, this card came together soo easy!  I actually stamped a larger striped panel and just trimmed down to size.  My sentiment is selectively inked from the set:  Just Hello.

Nautical hi!

Now for that sailor's knot........you all know Pinterest.  The site where hours upon hours of your day can go unaccounted for?  I used a tutorial found HERE however, I've made several of these years ago for a card so you can find sources pretty much anywhere on how to make these.  For my knot, I just used 4 equal strands of Natural Twine and followed this diagram!

Source:  Martha Stewart

Well, that's it for me today, but I'd love to hear what you think about my card today because well, I kinda like it!  Have a great Sunday!

{hi!}

Easter Baskets

Hi Crafty friends!

Melisa from Melisa's Crafty Creations here with you today.  I have a some really cute little Easter baskets that I made for my friend's two daughters.  I don't get to make many girly things being that I have 3 boys, but it sure is fun to do something different every once in a while.  Now if I can just figure out what to make for my boys.

I used the Bubble Gum Pink and Lemonade Yellow Twine for the bow on my first basket.  The decorations on the front of the baskets are stickers that have been popped up with pop dots.

For this basket I used the Olive Green and Lemonade Yellow Twine for the bow.  I love combining different colors of twine together.  The baskets are from the Online Silhouette store.

Here is a view of the top of the baskets.  I filled them with a bunch of candy.  I'm sure my friend is going to love me when her girls are bouncing from the walls from all the sugar.  Ha ha.  That's what friends are for right?  I'm sure she'll pay me back some way.  :)

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a Twine-tastic day!!!

I'm too sexy for this card

Heller Peeps!! Debbie with Bugjuiced here today!

Its a fabulous Wednesday Morning (yeah right) and I am sharing a goofy, crazy lady again for my card! I am on a kick right now with silly things. Yes I know I am warped but I like that one thing about myself. I can critique loads of things about myself but the one thing I do not ever want to change is my sense of humor. Honestly if I didn't have one I would probably be locked away somewhere in a dark room getting medication at intervals throughout the day and I would be looking around for R.P (Jack Nicholson from One flew over the cuckoos nest) ok cuckoos I would'nt have spelled it like that but hey the internet says that is how it is so it is....(but coo coo's nest seemed better don't ya think?)

I made this file myself in my silhouette studio just like I did my "Call me Maybe" lady" a few post back. This one was made up from seeing a crazy picture on the internet. So I just started working on shapes and got this together. She should of had some crazy socks on but this was the prototype and lets be real here folks this took me a long time to get done so it became THE one for the project!

I used mostly straight pieces for the hair cause it was suppose to mostly be frazzled hair but I wanted to throw the curls in there a bit.

I used coredinations paper for alot of it. Hand drew the lines for the skirt and shirt and some of the face and Bernice was ALIVE! ok now I am in my head saying ALIVE like Dr. Frankenstein from "Young Frankenstein" I am so abby normal! Maybe I need to get out of the house more often....eeeegh we shall see what happens when I come out of hibernation.

I used "Pumpkin Orange" for her hair.
I hope you like Bernice!

*{Timeless Twine adds Natural Luxury!}*

I find myself unable to create anything without using Timeless Twine on it, I have honestly tried to challenge myself not to add twine...but I cannot. I love the look it lends, the texture it adds, the classic feel it gives to any card, layout or altered item. You really cannot go wrong with twine.

Timeless Twine Natural adds the perfect feel to the layout I created for today's post...you'll see what I'm talking about below. I added a teeny bit of Strawberry Truffle also...Mackenzie doesn't do pink...and I try to add it every chance I can because it's such a foreign entity in our house...and this was the perfect little ending for the layout.

Thank you for looking and thank you for always leaving such sweet comments! It means a lot!

Have a happy Tuesday!
